QuoteTantricYes it's a bug, yes there's a fix coming. This is described on the VBA GX site. Hmm, I couldn't find this one in the bug reports - the bug with save states is there, but I don't see a bug related to save *files*. Also, I still have the problem after downgrading from 1.0.5 to 1.0.3. Given that other people seem to be able to save just fine in 1.0.3 and 1.0.4,by pwiggi - Homebrew Applications
I'm hitting this same problem in vbagx 1.0.5... using in-game save (not save states), /vbagx/saves is present; I can see/load save files that were made some time ago, but no new ones can be created. Deleted the old xml file, uninstalled & reinstalled vbagx through homebrew browser... I'll try downgrading to an older version... was this ever verified to be a bug / is a fix pending fby pwiggi - Homebrew Applications
QuotetonaAre you suggesting that Nintendo would actually "brick" Wiis with an update? Your arguments are valid on this point, but I'm pretty sure Nintendo is following those rules of "ethical obligation" as you put it. I was, in fact, suggesting just that. I was suggesting further that they would brick Wiis *intentionally* with an update. Why would I accuse Nintendo of this? Becauseby pwiggi - Homebrew General

QuoteTheManuelIn all honesty, I don't think it's unfair for Nintendo to try to protect their intellectual property. We all want the HBC for different purposes and there are those who would use it to pirate games. Just want to chime in, because this is a fallacious argument and is a dangerous line of reasoning. Scorched3D is the 3d version of the game, and a Wii port would be awesome. Here's a link to it: I had a lot of fun with this at LAN parties in college. When/if I get some free time, this would be a fun project to learn the API used for the Wii. iofthestorm: perhaps some collaboration is in order? PM me sometime if you get something started. I'll do the same :)by pwiggi - Homebrew General
