No, open code manager(in ocarinas zip files, I believe) and copy and open .txt files that you have saved from the site. I do not think you can ever open them in notepad and have it work. Once you have opened the .txt file of choice, put what codes you want on, and export to gct. Export it to a folder in the root of your SD card named codes and title it the code of the game(like RZBE01or somethingby Tudor - Homebrew Applications
When I use the Ocarina with USBGecko, sometimes some of the codes don't work correctly or at all; If I use the normal Ocarina, most of the codes work, but not all of them and on Zelda, the music goes away. Are these two applications supposed to work differently?by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
Thank you for the response. I guess whoever said it didn't know what they were talking about; I thought it was weird that I could find nothing on it.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
I meant it was aimed at Eman4Show, not you, but thanks for the response.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
I was just wondering if there was a way to input cheat codes using the VBAGX emulator. I can't really find anything on it, but I remember someone talking about having a codes folder.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
That is pretty immature. Also, does anyone know how well Pokemon Stadium would work? I tried it with an older version, but it was incredibly slow. Aimed at the name-caller.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
Oh, I'll try that. Thanks alot. I haven't looked at the homebrew browser in awhile, and if this works, it would be very useful for games like Super Smash Bros Brawl. After trying it, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It tells me to click on a code list, and, when I do, it brings me to a page telling me how to turn codes on and off; the problem is none of the codes show up,by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
Thanks for the advice; I'll try downgrading I guess.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
You can save in-game. Before loading your rom, go to preferences, then turn auto save SRAM and auto load SRAM on. This way you can use save points found in-game. Also, I think the first time you try to do this, turn both auto load SRAM and SNAPSHOT so you don't lose progress.by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
I have tried using this application on my wii, and every time I try to access a code list, a green screen comes up, and it freezes. I read that if the names/comments are too long, this would happen, but even with my Super Mario Galaxy codes (there are only two), the same thing happens. I have them in the root SD folder and have named them from either 1-7 or 0-6(depending on what it said) and it sby Tudor - Homebrew Applications
Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't really sure, but what you're describing is what's happening. From the way you described it, it is fairly normal, but is there any way to stop it from happening? Also, thank you for the explanation; I knew that people could pirate movies, but I thought games were harder. Is there any way to enter cheat codes for the VBAGX? I've looked, but I coulby Tudor - Homebrew Applications
If you would check the site you're using, you'd find what you're looking for. .com/Codes/ without the space between Gecko and .by Tudor - Homebrew Applications
I'm not sure if this is normal, but every time I open a game in VBAGX and try to go back to the root menu, the application freezes. A black screen pops up and says (I believe) that an IOS error has occurred. Sometimes if I wait until I'm in gameplay, I can open the menu, though not at any other time. Also, I know I'm not supposed to talk about certain things, but I'm unsurby Tudor - Homebrew Applications
