I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I'm having this problem: When I had HBC beta 8 installed, I used ocarina to use cheats for twilight princess (like infinite longshot, climb on high buildings). After I installed HBC beta 9, ocarina no longer worked, and then I found out that gecko OS includes ocarina, so I installed that. As far as going back to beta 8 from beta9, would you have to run the twilight hack again? if you do wii system update first, would you be able to do the twilight hack (and then install hb apps)?by Ibrewii - Homebrew General

Great job! It works really well so far. A few things that I would want included: If you strafe left, then it sometimes doesn't let you strafe right immediately after. Music doesn't seem to work. This was a really great part of playing Doom in DOS. Maybe add some way to enable the cheat codes (IDSPISPOPD). Gamecube controller support. I'm having trouble getting any games to play. Snes9x finally loads, but I get that colorful test screen whenever I try to play something. Should the roms be in .smc format? Edit: I just installed the HB browser, and now it's working!by Ibrewii - Homebrew General

And for updating the HBC, can you just put a file on your SD card and it updates automatically? I know it can use the network, but does it have to?by Ibrewii - Homebrew General

Thank you. I have been kind of nervous to install it so far, but now I think I'll try it. Since I have to erase my TP saves, can I just copy them onto a separate SD card to copy back later after the HBC is installed?by Ibrewii - Homebrew General

Let's say I install the homebrew channel on my wii. If Nintendo releases a game that checks for it before it allows online play, or if a new update is needed to use wii motion-plus, is it easy to uninstall the channel? Will simply deleting it make every sign of it go away and I will have a wii that is indiscernible from a regular one? Also, I want to see if I understand this right.
