QuoteOboeNerdThe bootmii folder contains everything that bootmii needs, if you want bootmii to work with that card then keep the folder there. 2GB SD cards should work with the Wii console, support for SDHC cards has been included in the 4.0 System Menu update which supposedly extends the support to 32 gigabytes. Ok cool. Actually I wanna keep the bootmii stuff on my current SD card, and that only. So I just delete everything except the bootmii folder right? And Im looking at purchasing a 2 GB SD Card. Will that work or is that too much for the Wii?by ICEing - Getting Started
Just a quick question...if I wanted to copy everything I have on my current SD card to a new one, will everything work on the new one? Such as all the apps, and saves, and stuff like bootmii?by ICEing - Getting Started
So if want my wii to become unbrickable I want to backup my memory to the SD card? Also I had to load the hackmii installer thru the wii xplorer in the HBC by opening the hackmii folder I put in the root of my SD and clicking some boot file even though the readme said something about saying I had to make it a .DOL file. It worked I mean idc, but If I wanted to get the HBC via bannerbomb on a wby ICEing - Getting Started
I downloaded a N64 game (Super Mario 64) and put it into the n64 roms folder in the root of my SD card and it didnt work. What did I do wrong? I renamed the extension ".n64" and it didnt work so I changed it to ".v64" and still no >_< -EDIT- Found this: Boot HBC Boot LoadMii ( brew prog) Find Wii64 in apps Boot Wii64 from there Uhh..loadmii? QuoteTopGun96no problem. tell us if it works or not! Definitly! It may take a few days before I try it out since my comp does not read SD Cards so I'll attempt it over a friends house. Thanks thoughby ICEing - Getting Started

QuoteTopGun96ohhh... if it doesnt, sorry for the mis-information. I dont see how it wouldnt work as it just requires a trucha enabled IOS in slot 249...doesnt it? Ehhh...it may be not all that important. Seems like too much work for that app :) I was just worried it was something with my Wii. Im on 3.4 BTWby ICEing - Homebrew Applications

QuoteTopGun96Bannerbomb channel data is bannerbomb's private folder. Some homebrew to load would be the hackmii installer. When you download the hackmii installer it is downloaded as "installer.elf" you must rename it to boot.elf and the root is the very beginning part of the sd (not in any folders) Ok simple enough :) But in my other topic about bootmii I was wondering how hackmii is acby ICEing - Getting Started
QuoteTopGun96That is what bootmii requires to boot up. Do you see any menu (other than system menu) when you start up the wii? If not try reinstalling bootmii boot2. No no menu at all. My wii turns on like normal Wiis. So to reinstall bootmii I should install it through the HackMii Installer v0.3? And if so where do I put the file once I install hackmii on my SD Card and how is it activated?by ICEing - Getting Started

I found a folder named "bootmii" on the root of my SD Card. Inside I have 3 files that read "armboot.bin" "bootmii.ini" and "ppcbppt.elf" I dont remember installing it but its there but I still dont know how to run it. Is that the full bootmii or what?by ICEing - Getting Started
I wanna make sure I dont brick my Wii when installing this thing because it seems complicated. All I want is to make my Wii unbrickable I just want to know EXACTLY what to install, and HOW TO install. Im asking here because frankly I dont understand or know much about hacking and stuff like "IOS" and "NAND." Hell, I dont even know what are "Regions" are. Ok I already have the HBC im just wondering how to use Bannerbomb so I can download it for my friend who is on the latest System Menu (unfortunatly) -_- Anyway I was looking at the guide and this caught my attention on what you need: SD (or SDHC, only on sys menu 4.0) card formatted as FAT16 or FAT32. I was thinking that if Tantric worked on Wii 64 it would be normal by now right? Without the really slow frame rate and whatnot. And also the Genisis would be improved a lot as well, as far as the same format as the SNES 9XGX and Visual Boy GX. Just something I would like to throw out there, maybe it would be possible? Because Wii 64 especially is extremely bad...not even worth playing I rather bby ICEing - Homebrew Applications
