QuoteArikadoIt's already been done. See (grab the ARM version) Thanks. I should have looked more carefully. :)by jackos2500 - Coding
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to port libmxml for use in DS homebrew. If so, what would I need to do? Thanks in advance, jackos2500by jackos2500 - Coding
QuoteSonicdude41If by what you mean is what update is on the SMG2 disc, then it is 4.2. Huh? That can't be right. When I inserted the SMG2 disc into my Wii, (running 4.2) The Disc Channel wanted me to update!! (But of course I didn't and used Gecko instead) :)by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Feckless, I would reccomend that you DON'T launch your Wii games from the Disc Channel. Get Gecko OS and launch them from there. This is because you don't have to update your Wii if you launch from Gecko.by jackos2500 - Getting Started
Which version of the System Menu is on Super Mario Galaxy 2?by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Download Dop-SHOP. It is designed to automatically download and install the latest Shop Channel from NUS (Nintendo's update servers). I used it on my Wii and it worked well.by jackos2500 - Getting Started
QuoteArikadoSee the source code to LoadMii. Thanks! Thats just what I needed. :)by jackos2500 - Coding
Could someone please show me how to load a dol executable? (Like the Homebrew Channel does.) Thanks in advance! :)by jackos2500 - Coding
Thanks! But, if possible do you know an example using ansi escape codes?by jackos2500 - Offtopic
Ah well. :]by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Thanks, guys. I'll keep BootMii installed for the moment.by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Is BootMii useless if I can't use it as a boot2 replacment? If so, should I uninstall it?by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
QuoteArikadoThis is really far too basic and generally applicable to be discussed in the Coding section of our forum. Whoops, I'm pretty new to this so I didn't know. Sorry.by jackos2500 - Offtopic
Quotejbc007If you can't install Bootmii/boot2 on your wii, there is nothing you can do to make it possible. Never knew that! Thanks a bunch! :-)by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Quotejbc007Downgrading is a bad idea, as there is no real benefit to a lower system menu and there is a significant brick risk if you do not know what you are doing. Still, in answer to the original question, if you have an "LU64+" wii (I don't know what serial number that corresponds to for PAL wiis) your wii will brick if you downgrade below 3.4. If your wii is older than that, the downgby jackos2500 - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545Why do you want to downgrade? I wanted to be able to place BootMii before the system menu in case anything else dangerous bricked my wii. But I probably won't be doing anything else dangerous. So I suppose I was being kind of stupid. ;)by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
QuotechrisYes. Google ANSI escape sequences. Thanks! :) But, if possible, could I have an example or a link to one?by jackos2500 - Offtopic
Is it possible to make a menu in a non-graphical homebrew using printf()? Also, is it possible to create an option menu using the same method? e.g. If I wanted the user to pick a number between 1 and 10, rather than seeing all the options at one time, they could just use left and right on d-pad to switch between numbers. Thanks in advance! :Pby jackos2500 - Offtopic
If I try to use AnyRegion Changer 1.1 to downgrade my wii to 3.2E on my wii running 4.2E will it be bricked?!?!? Plz help! :/ Thx! ;)by jackos2500 - Homebrew General
