It seems that, somewhere along the line, my Wii's Gamecube compatibility has been damaged (but not destroyed) at either the firmware or the hardware level. It plays all GC games fine, bar one (The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, which comes up with a disc read error immediately before the opening cinematic). I hypothesise that the problem may have something to do with the fact thaby kozuki6 - FixMii

Before I started, I had no NAND modifications; I had once had BootMii installed both as boot2 and an IOS, but had deleted both using the HackMii installer. Hi all, Long-ish question with a one-line answer: I plan to buy Red Steel 2 next week, and I suspect that it will have the 4.2 update that New Super Mario Bros. had. My Wii is running 4.1e (I think - I'll amend this post if I'm wrong), but I updated the Shop Channel using WiiSCU so that I could keep using it.
