I don't think so. My NAND backup was like 568Mb.by 0ld8oy - BootMii Beta
No clue but I'm sure we'll find out soon. Luckily I installed bootmii as boot2 so I shouldn't have much to worry about in the future.by 0ld8oy - Homebrew General
Just an update for anyone who has homebrew with 4.0U. The Punch Out disc update has disabled no homebrew. Thanks to Team Twiizers for the ability to run it without fear.by 0ld8oy - Homebrew General

QuoteMorshumanQuoteArikadoTry WiiSCU. well, here's the deal, I updated my wii on accident and now I have no homebrew channel. Pls help Looks like you're SOL for now. I'm in the same boat. Just have to be patient and wait for BannerBomb/BootMii.by 0ld8oy - Getting Started
I may be misunderstanding this but it seems as though people believe that if you format your system memory you lose access to any VC/WiiWare you installed legitimately. This is not true. I upgraded to 4.0u with all of my homebrew installed and then formatted my system memory. As long as you don't erase your Shop Channel account you won't lose anything. After the format all of the leby 0ld8oy - Homebrew General

@NL_Link Did you update to 4.0 through Nintendo?by 0ld8oy - Homebrew General
Nintendo Channel has videos of recent releases and upcoming games along with some developer interviews and commercials. Not sure about the update since I have currently have no homebrew installed, however it requires you to upload information from your Wii each time youby 0ld8oy - Offtopic
For the people looking for BootMii info, there's a basic rundown on BootMii wiki. Any other info that has been released is on HackMii. I just didn't see a definitive answer to my question so I posted it here.by 0ld8oy - Homebrew General
The Wii I am hoping to work with was purchased in early 2007 so I should be fine regarding the boot1 issue. All of the conflicting info and the long delay with no word or explanation from comex is leaving me (and I'm sure others too) with some doubt regarding Bannerbomb. I also recognize, being a noob myself, that this forum is overrun with impatient noobs begging and groveling for insidby 0ld8oy - Homebrew General
I'm just looking for confirmation on this but from what I've gathered BootMii can be installed on a virgin 4.0 Wii purchased pre-late 2008 with no extra hardware other than an SD card? I've been reading up on this for a while but everything has been kind of vague regarding installation. I just don't want to get my hopes up for something I won't be able to use. I was just wondering if it was possible to create an "update" that would downgrade the System Menu and use a router to "spoof" Nintendo's servers and forward it through a wireless network. Also, is it possible to modify the Twilight Hack save file using the keys obtained from running xyzzy so the Wii thinks it encrypted the file and allows it to transfer from an SD card? Obviously, if yoby 0ld8oy - Homebrew General
