thanks for the reply... it's been a while since i've dug into the HomeBrew stuff, but I think a good portion is only on my SD card. I've used some region programs (GeckoOS??) to allow me to play some imported games, but I don't think it changed the Wii's hard locked region, it only allowed me to boot the game from within the menu. I just found that my Wii will no longer read discs. I've tried many of the online tricks with no help. I've even tried restoring my NAND from a backup with no luck so I need to wipe ALL the homebrew stuff off my Wii so that I can send it to Nintendo for a repair. I did see another post about this, but it wasn't related to if it will break the current 4.2 setup, but about if they could still install homebrew after. also, didn't see the search button in my 2min on this forum. Hi all, I just bought MG2 and am running my Wii with v4.2u with the homebrew channel running fine. Am I safe to run MG2 without any need for it to update? (or if it does require a new update like v4.3, can that be installed safely?) Thanks for any infoby teknomedic - Homebrew General
