why cant i add channels for my wii with wadman 1.5? should i or can i delete this and add a different manager? if so, what do you suggest?by freegame36 - The Junkyard
Then why does wiibrew.org suggest not to update throgh nintendo......when go to their site....this is the first thing you see WiiBrew recommends that you do not update your Wii through Nintendo. However, if you have updated or wish to update, you can use the latest version of the HackMii Installer to regain full functionality. Downgrading or installing patched updates is dangerous and mayby freegame36 - Getting Started
i'm sorry. The only info i used from that site was the 4.2 version mods....it does have a lot of illegal info there but i just stayed clear from that. wiibrew.org is great but not for begginers. the other site i gave you has complete walkthroughs for dummies....thats why i used it for myself....lol wiibrew is hard to follow unless you are pretty goodat this stuff.....just a thoughtby freegame36 - Getting Started
ok. Thanks for all your help. one more question. When i installed my applications, i done so for a 4.2u wii. If i update and it increases my version, will my sd card need to be redone or will all the applications on it work....this is a question not only for me, but also for a lot of people with prior versions as well.by freegame36 - Getting Started
i Hope this questions is ok with this forum. How can I add wii channel. i am usinf wadman 1.5. It wont let me add certain things for a wii channel. Is this manager the problem and should i switch??by freegame36 - The Junkyard
yes. i think that will help. i will provide you with this website to help with 4.2v wii's. This is what i used...just read carefully and dont skip any steps. there is a a lot of great info on here. Just read and follow instructions to a ''t''. I hope this doesnt get me booted from this site. but here it is: Link removed. Contained illegal information.by freegame36 - Getting Started
i will do it through disk channel. so to clarify this issue for me. If a person updates their wii through nintendo, will they brick or lose all their hbc applications? This will be a devastating event if either one of these issues happens over this update. I worked weeks and invested tons of hrs with my wii and do not want to take a chance of having to start all over because of this update. thankby freegame36 - Getting Started
from my experience, all wii's are different. you are updated to a 4.2 v correct?. I would reformatt your sd card and start all over. i wouldnt try to use any info from another sd card. The one thing I learned was again, all wiis are different. When you put your freshly formatted card into your wii. what is the first thing that happens?by freegame36 - Getting Started
with the 4.2v wii, the sd card needs to be formatted at fat32 i believe the older or prior versions need to be formatted at FAT or FAT16....Just throwing this out there. Hope this helps and sorry if it doesntby freegame36 - Getting Started
lol. ok. I will give it a shot. This will not update my entire system will it?by freegame36 - Getting Started
so when i put a disc in and click on the disc channel, it says update wii before using. You are telling me to just go ahead and click ok to run the update through nintendo and I will not lose anything I have done with my wii. I was under the impression if you updated your wii through nintendo that it wouldnt be "modded" any longer. what should I do. update the disc channel through nintendo or notby freegame36 - Getting Started
I have a 4.2 v wii. I installed homebrew channel and everything works great. I tried to play a game I purchased and before it will load my disc a screen pops up telling me i need to update my wii. I do not want to lose any of the software i installed but i need to be able to play my bought disc. Is there a safe way to update my wii withouty losing my homebrew channel and everything associated witby freegame36 - Getting Started
