your webpage could return a CSV file or XML rather than HTML and this would be much easier to parse and display.by pembo - Coding
just to add - this is a really interesting topic and one of the reasons why I love reading some of the posts in this forum. Thanks guys for an educational post. Might have to give this a go myself :)by pembo - Coding
if your trying to do this in a console app, take a look at in particular the drawString function. Remember though though the x/y in a console app are characters and not pixelsby pembo - Coding
Try sprintf for the int to string. There's a control code to clear the console. Take a look at the console class in here There's a clear console method there that does exactly what you want and will clear the console with a specified background colour.by pembo - Coding
Download and take a look at Skinned Console Applications (Libraries/Source & Example) There are classes in there that do exactly what you want along with a demo of how to use it.by pembo - Coding
my 'makefile' skills are non existent, and having bashed my head for an hour or two, I wondered if anyone can please explain how to get bin2o to run against a .raw file in a directory called 'sounds' and what I need to do to get it to build/include it? Thanksby pembo - Coding
Put this on your SD card with the bootmii files, and run it and change the settings. It'll just modify the ini file, but it will do it correctly so that it works.by pembo - BootMii Beta
sounds like a probable issue with SD card compatibility - especially as it's an SHDC one, I guess there's more likely to be issues with these. Try booting without the SD card it - and it it then never freezes, either format the SD card and try again, or try a different one.by pembo - BootMii Beta
excellent thread - just about to start some adding some audio code and this will be extremely useful for both the MP3 and the sound effects bit! Thanks - much appreciated!by pembo - Coding
Not unless you fancy a go at porting something like JamVM.by pembo - Coding
Can't you just check on argc/argv? Won't they by 0/empty if launched from a channel, but it launched from the HBC, argv[0] will contain the full path to the dol/elf??by pembo - Coding
The XML code looks pretty good at a quick glance. I've done similar things with the mxml lib without issue. Download and take a look at where I use the mxml lib to load and parse an XML file containing skin definitions. You'll find it in the SkinController class. I suspect there is something more unusual going on and it probably isn't an issue with the XML code itself.by pembo - Coding
