Rock Band controllers don't work with hacked Wii

Hi!
I hope someone here can help me out.

Since I unlocked my Wii and installed the Homebrew Channel, I can no longer get the Rock Band Controllers to work.
When I insert the original Rock Band disc in the console, it tells me on the disc channel that I must do an update in order to play the game. So I start the game through the Backup Channel and it starts all right, except that the Rock Band controllers don't work anymore, only the wii remote works.

Is this a common, knonw issue?
Anybody know how I can fix it?

Tut tut... Backups are not supported on this forum. I don't think you are alone in your situation, however.

As regards playing the game legitimately, if you update then your problem will most likely be solved. My guess is that the IOS patch which you have installed in order to run the "backup channel" has disabled the functionality of the Rock Band peripherals. The update would replace the patched IOS with the one you should be using, and so fix the issue.

1)"Unlocking" your Wii is a scam. Good for you, you paid for freely available software :)

2)Backups are not supported in our forum

3)The original copies of games always work perfectly

4)The backup channel is illegal
