GC and Wii Boot in HBC

I've downloaded the GC boot and Wii boot channel (whatever you call them) to play discs via the HBC. When I try to load a disc through either of them, the game starts to load and stops, or doesn't load at all. Is there anyway to make games work?

I haven't personally used those channels your speaking of, but have you tried Gecko OS? It works very well if you just want a way to boot discs directly from the HBC without returning to the Wii menu.

do you mean libwiigameload? also, those arent channels. its not a channel if its in HBC. Channels are illegal (except Homebrew Channel), and appear on the Wii System Menu.

The Gamecube one is called "GCBooter", I deleted the wii disc one when I found out it didn't work. I don't remember where I got this one, but it says Boot GC discs via Homebrew Channel. I have heard of Gecko, but I have not really used it at all. I'll try it though.
