fceugx 3.1 and snesgx 4.1.2 wont work

it can never find the roms folder or it says that there is no usb device detected when it just detected it to load the program up which makes no sense at all.. it needed the hd just to load the program, and then it says theres nothing connected.. something isnt right here... previous versions worked no problem, but todays newest releases wont work at all...

and despite my having the gg rom in every possible folder, it still says game genie cant be found either..

I am having a similar problem, but the older versions of fceugx and snesgx have the same problem. it seems to have started when HBC 1.0.6 installed. my roms are on a sdhc card. with 1.0.5 it worked fine.
