Is there anyway for Visual Boy Advanced GX to run smoother?

It's annoying the way it is now.

Did you miss the "turbo boost" button?

And what button might that be?

Either way I want the game to run normally, not at high speeds. Right now games run at a choppy pace and look awful.AndI am using 2.0.8

How dare Tantric insult us by not making the emulator run full speed?
After all, the slacker only runs a meager few full-fledged WiiBrew projects with the best looking interfaces.

But, anyway, there is a way you can right all those wrongs perpetrated by him.
Get in contact with him so that you can begin to write PPC assembly code to optimize the emulator or perhaps even an ARM to PPC dynamic recompiler (I don't even know if this makes sense since I'm not a programmer but you can figure it out)?

turbo boost button worked great for me. running 90% of my games at smooth speed with no probs.

The hard part was finding that option... well hidden Tantric... i like it!

I think they're reffering to GC pad c-stick left. Or something.

No, it's on the Wii unit itself. Pop open the cover on the SD card slot. There should be a little rectangular button; that's the turbo boost. It works on GameCube games, too.

Thats the sync button. It doesnt speed up GC games, dunno if its the turbo boost button for this app.

i didn't say you didn't understand sarcasm, i said "PEOPLE who don't understand it..."

it's scientifically proven that it isn't the lowest form of wit (as much as you can scientifically prove something like that)
Just because there is a popular quote that calls it the lowest form of wit doesn't mean you should ignore science and blindly conform to that line of thinking.

But if you want to stand by your comment... feel free. There are many folks in this world that tend to ignore what science has told us and choose to conform to popular opinion, but we aren't supposed to talk about that stuff on the forums.

Totally agree. type written text is the WORST when it comes to trying to gauge what tone people are trying to use.

i only sighed because all the posts seemed QUITE obvious... i mean come on... a "TURBO button"... GC left C stick... red rectangular button that works with GC games too...

But I would like to know if it's possible to get the this to run smoother.
Golden Sun 2 is very choppy but funny enough the first one runs great.

Any ideas as to get it to run a bit better settings wise?
