GUI Graphics

I'm not sure if this is where I should ask this, but could anyone give me some images for a gui? I'm developing WiiConnect, and I need graphics for the gui. In fact, I don't even have an idea for the gui, so if anyone is willing to help, I would definitely appreciate it!

Sure, but I really need graphics more than testers. If I try making them myself, I'm sure they'll end up real crappy.

Well, I need an area at the bottom for network status (i.e. connecting, retrieving file, etc.), a main screen with different images for each option (email, chat, news, etc.), and maybe a sidebar for notifications. I'm thinking of having a fullscreen background, and having a white rounded rectangle for the main screen, and will make everything translucent. The buttons will be highlighted when the cursor is over it.

I don't suppose you could do a very basic MS paint mock-up of what you want the layout to be like?
I literally mean something as simple as boxes with text.
I'm a visual person, and I'm not 'getting' your description. A struggle for me to help otherwise =/

That looks fantastic! The only thing it's missing is a notification area (which could either be a sidebar, or maybe implimented on the bottom) and at the bottom a place for the network status (like in an internet browser i.e. Connecting..., Retrieving files..., etc.).

That's great! Do you have the separate images?

A quick suggestion for when you get to the actual implementation, make sure there's some padding on the bottom/top, as that space might be cropped by a tv's overscan. eg: don't put your buttons/logo quite so close to the edges.
