trucha bug question

is it possible to have the trucha bug in firmware 4.0U
i used the signcheck app and it said that all of my wii's ios's had the trucha bug enabled
does that mean i can use apps that require the trucha bug or do i have to do something else??

Edit: Regarding all IOSes appearing trucha enabled on 4.0 when using signcheck, I have the same issue. Seems to be a bug with the application.

let me guess... did you use waninkoko's 4.0 upgrader? because that's not supported here.

i have only updated my wii thru nintendo

Then its the bug in sign check which shows all IOS as having trucha on 4.0, when they dont.

Regarding the bug in sign check, I spoke to TheLemonMan about it and he believes the issue is that his code that checks the IOS header is invalid on 4.0 > updates due to changes in the IOS header his code doesn't compensate for. He expects to have the bug fixed sooner than later once he figures out what additional code he needs.
