can.t acces the home shopping channel on 4.1

i update a freind wii using super mario game from 3.2 to 4.1 but i still can,t acces the shopping channel?

the homebrew channel are still there and apps

any help

You need 4.3 to access the wii shop channel or you can use an app to update the wii shop channel but not the system menu itself (forgot what it was called, someone correct me)

Yes, you need to update to 4.3 or update the Shop Channel itself to the latest version. DOP-Mii can do this.

What did you do to fix it, i'm having the same problem, trying to get netflix.

Update to 4.3 by going into Wii Options --> Wii Settings --> Go to the 3rd page and select Wii System Update.

Also make sure you have the current HBC or it will be removed but can be installed back with letterbomb or one of the game exploits.
