Formatting the Wii System Memory

If I format my Wii's memory, will that remove everything (BootMii, the Homebrew Channel, etc.)? And will I be able to just move my saves/VC titles/Wiiware titles to an SD card, and move them back after the format?

AFAIK, everything except BootMii. Yes and yes.

The tickets will stay. So even the homebrewchannel can be moved back.

Of course that means, that "formating" does not erase all traces of the HBC or any othe rinstalled channel.

I know that traces of the Homebrew Channel will still remain. I really don't care about that because my Wii's waranty was already expired before I even installed homebrew :-P. I'm just not really into homebrew anymore, and I'd like to remove everything, including BootMii, from my Wii.

So how do I remove BootMii from the Wii?

It doesn't hurt to keep bootmii as hardly anyone would notice it's there if you delete/rename/whatever your bootmii folder in the root of your SD card, but if you must uninstall it, get the new hackmii installer and it has the uninstall feature in it as well: [bootmii.org]

Why is it exactly that you want to delete homebrew? Why are you tired of it? Have you had problems with it or something??
