Homebrew channel not loading

Well i thought i was following everything in the guide up until after i used the twilight hack to start hackmii installer. I then installed only the HBC however when i go to exit the installer the screen goes black and does not return to the wii menu. I i hold down the power button and reset that way i return to the menu to see the HBC icon. However whenever i try to start the channel it returns me straight to the Wii menu.

Any suggestions.

Oh BTW my Wii is 3.3U and the serial is L63 and i used the lastest versions of everything.

You need to install IOS 60. For some reason the latest HBC uses this IOS only found in System Menu 4.0. You can either update to 4.0, or just run WiiSCU with twilight hack and choose to install IOS 60.
