HELP REMOVING SOFTMOD

Hey all :-)
Can I get a definitive guide on removing softmod on a 4.o Wii, I`d like it back to virgin state, as easy as possible, hahah!
Could someone please provide an easy tut on doing so? Many thanks!

Use the Hackmii installer to uninstall HBC, DVDx, and Bootmii if you have it. That'll get you basically back to square 1.

well not exactly.. there would still be cIOS and whatever warez are on there..
run anytitle deleter and delete all titles that shouldn't be there (i.e. WAD titles and cIOS) keep the necessary IOSs and reinstall the Nintendo-patched ones by either doing a Nintendo update or getting them yourself with NUS Downloader and installing them ith WAD Manager

then format your wii to get rid of play history, which will feature HBC and any warez.

Is there an app that can delete play history?

You could manually delete it...but that would take a really long time.

I am not quite sure, but doesn't maintenance mode delete the messageboard?

Actually IIRC, maintenance mode does delete some play history... I'm not sure how, but I think last time I tried maintenance mode it deleted a few days

there is no way to manually delete play history, and there is no homebrew to remove play history. the only way to get rid of it is formatting.

No way to manually remove it? You can go to every single play log and click the Trash icon.

Nope, the trash icon doesn't appear in play history, just letters. Go check now if you don't believe me.

That's right, I remember now. Well, you could replace your message board file with an empty one...

Also, why does Phorum think this is spam?

Sorry for the misinformation. I thought you could manually delete everything. I'm not lame enough to go and check to see if i can prove you wrong, i believe you. :P

Apparently I'm a spammer too, i think the "filter" is a little to tight..
