You need trucha IOS to be able to use it. I think it's IOS 36 which must have the trucha bug. What firmware are you on? There are ways of getting trucha bug back, depending on the firmware.

Not always, if you have IOS35 with the signing bug in it, it should work fine.

Yes, you could use CMDVDX34 to downgrade IOS 35. According to wiiguy, you should now be able to use AnyRegion Changer. If not, come back here for some extra steps.

Does any region changer work off IOS 35? oh and its CMDVDX35, not 34. You know, cause it downgrades IOS 35? lol, i assume that was a typo.

Okay, download NUS Downloader from Wiibrew and start the .exe file. Enter 0000000100000024 for the Title ID and 1042 for the version number on the right. Check the box to make it pack into a WAD and hit 'download'. This should create a folder named 0000000100000024. Open up this folder and find the .wad file. Now, create a folder named 'wad' on the root of your SD card and put the .wad file in it. Find WAD Manager 1.4 online and download it. Run WAD Manager 1.4 from the Homebrew Channel and select IOS 35. Navigate through the menus and install the 0000000100000024 WAD. If there aren't any errors, try running AnyRegion Changer again.

Installing Title... ERROR! ( ret = - 1035 )

This is what happens when I try to Install the WAD :(

Are you sure that you downgraded IOS 35 with CMDVDX34? And did you select IOS 35 as the IOS to use in WAD Manager?

Hmm... That's strange, I just tried it now and it installed for me. All I can think of is that the WAD is bad. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the WAD. Or maybe redownload the WAD with NUS Downloader and try again.

Sorry, I don't know why it isn't working for you; it worked just fine when I tried it.

This isnt working because hes lacking a an IOS with trucha in it. He most likely didn't correctly perform the IOS 35 CMDVDX34 downgrade segment.

Also, all of this downgrading is not the smartest idea.

He should make a NAND Backup while his Wii still works before he does anything else.

Try doing the CMDVDX34 step again. Make sure that you wait until everything is done and it returns to the screen with the three options.
