I screwed up and yes i am stupid please help

Ok, I believe i have bricked my Wii. I accidentally formatted the wii memory. I can not get to anything but the Hackmii install page which is telling me that " the installer can not continue. There is no vulnerable IOS installed. Is there anyway to bring this back. I do not have my nand.bin file. Any help would be appreciated

hmmmmm.... do you have cioscorp installed because that screws a lot of stuff up.

Pleae give a clearer discription. How is your Wii bricked? you can run the Hackmii Installer.

i believe he is saying that it is "bricked" because bootmii wont install.
PS: just because one (or even a few) things dont work perfectly doesnt mean your wii is bricked.

Your Wii isn't bricked. Its just a bit messed up cause you installed fail crap on your wii. Probably cIOScorp.

As far as i can tell nothing is installed but hackmii and it will go no further than the first screen and die

I did put cioscorp on it but i can not get to the wii screen or homebrew goes to hackmii and it will not go further

yeah cioscorp screws with bootmii. uninstall it to get bootmii

How do i uninstall it i do not have the option to do anything

I believe there is an app out there that does it. I am not sure try asking someone who knows more on cioscorp.

yeah, even if you do want to softmod (which is not supported here), say as far away as you can from cIOSCORP. It just does things in a very bad, backwards manner.

Ok i understand this. I can only get to the hackmii loader though without the nand.bin i can not recover though bootmii correct?

That is what bootmii does. You make a NAND.bin with the backmii up function (picture of a chip with an arrow pointing to an sd card) then if you ever need to restore that backup with restoremii (picture of sd with arrow pointing to chip)

Have you tried starting your wii in maintaince mode?

i've got this same problem... i can't install bootmii and homebrew channel... i've got it on SD but i can't copy/move it to wii memory :( and yes, i installed ciscorp

BUT, i've got a working preloader, maybe it will help?

you dont move the HBC to wii memory from an sd card you install it with the hackmii installer and bannerbomb. remove cioscorp by running the installer again

but i can't install anything (or only with preloader *.elf files)

you must somehow run the installer again (it will find that it is installed and uninstall it)

WAIT i moved cioscorp to on sd card x:/ not X:/ciscorp/ and installer run, but how to delete it?

if you have the installer app make your SD like this:

/apps/cioscorp/boot.dol

basically make a folder called apps on your sd card and drag the installer into that folder
