SD card won't load

Whenever I load up HBC it shows the loading circle but it will never actually show any applications, it just keeps circling. It doesn't matter if I load it from the menu or from BootMii. Yes I do have applications in the apps folder it looks like its trying to load it but it isn't

do you have the little switch on the SD card itself set to "lock"

No it isn't locked. I tried loading a nand backup but bootmii couldn't find it. I'll check to see if its damaged or corrupted

what type of SD card is it? It may not be compatible.

It shouldn't matter; just find one thats compatible from the link that mdbrim provided.
