I have recently downloaded the homebrew channel for my wii but all I have on screen are bubbles. I have the 4.3 upgrade for the wii but was able to use the smash brothers disc to download it. I'm not sure why nothing pops up when I start the channel.

If any one can help me please tell me what I did wrong,

You need to get some apps.

There's a list here.

To add them to the HBC, make an apps folder on the root of your SD card, and then download the apps you want from the list I gave you. You must then proceed to extract the app folder that you download, and drag the extracted contents into the apps folder on your SD card.

The homebrew browser would be my first suggestion then you can go online in with browser and download what apps you want if your wii is connected to internet.
