I used to have HBC and bootmii on Wii.
But I found that it was a lot better to play roms on my laptop.
So I uninstalled them.

Today at my family Christmas party we wanted to play The new super Mario bros Wii.
But it said we needed to update the system.
What caught my eye was the part about Bricking Wii's.

Will the New Wii update Brick my Wii even if I have uninstalled all the HBC and Bootmii?
I'm kinda worried about it.

I have personally updated from the NSMB disc WITH HBC installed, it is perfectly safe.
