Okay! Great! This will hopefully save me (and perhaps others) alot of time!! :Dby profetylen - Homebrew General
Because my PC doesn't have an SD card reader. The whole reaseon why I asked about this is because usually I transfer my files through an SD-card which have to be inserted in a digital camera. I think it would save me alot of time putting the files on an USB memory stick, then put that stick into the Wii and then transfer the files instead of having to go searching for the camera, perhepsby profetylen - Homebrew General
OK! Thanks, everyone! I currently not know how to write one, but I probably will when I have learned. When I start writing, I will check out SD explorer! Thanks again!by profetylen - Homebrew General
Is there an app that lets me transfer files from an USB memory stick to my SD card for the wii?by profetylen - Homebrew General
Ok! Strange... How old is your router Arikado? Mine is 5 years or something...by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
@Niekos: Where are you from and how did u translate to all those languages?by profetylen - Offtopic
Yes, it's netgear... How do I give it permission? These are my alternatives I think: Setup Wizard Setup Basic Settings Wireless Settings Content Filtering Logs Block Sites Block Services Schedule E-mail Maintenance Router Status Attached Devices Backup Settings Set Password Router Upgrade Advanced Wireless Settings Port Forwarding / Port Triggeringby profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Quotehenke37please stop trying to do network coding, you clearly don't know what you are doing. He never will know what he's doing if he never tries...by profetylen - Coding
I try to install 3.2 with AnyRegion Changer, but sometimes it says that it hasn't got an internet connection and exits and sometimes it starts downloading and then gives an error. I think this can depend on my stupid router. Do I have to forward a port or someting?by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
Okay! Thanks! Hm.. am I supposed to edit the libwiigui example to make my program? Where's the main loop in that example? and.. what does this crumelure: "->" ? *** considering buying a C book or something... knowing java doesn't help much...*** edit: added last questionby profetylen - Coding
I totally agree again!by profetylen - Offtopic
That's exactly what I mean! Thanks! (I have taken at least 15 looks in the example, but I don't now C well yet so I didn't understand ut very well). edit: spellingby profetylen - Coding
I totally agree with everything you just wrote!by profetylen - Offtopic
I just tried to install system menu 3.2 through AnyRegion Changer, but when I did it displayed an error for less than 1 second and it didn't install. What can I be doing wrong? What are even the difference between 3.2 and 3.1?by profetylen - Homebrew General
I can't figure out how this is done. How is it done?by profetylen - Coding
Aaaahahhahaa! That was what was wrong! They weren't at the right place! Thank you very much for helping me out with this! I have one more question though: How do the compiler know which files are being executed first? Is it all the header files or something or all the main loops? Can there be only one main loop? Or is the information in the makefile? OK, that was four questions.by profetylen - Coding
The file actually is at "C:\devkitPro\devkitPPC\include". (I have checked at least 10 times and I'm absolutely certain it's there.) So it seems like Programmers Notepad doesn't find the libraries. Is all I have to do to extract the files in the correct directory for Programmers Notepad to know that they are there or must I tell it someway that I have put them there?by profetylen - Coding
Hm, thank you, but I still cannot compile this. When i tried it gave me this error: > "make" FreeTypeGX.cpp In file included from c:/Projects/wii/libwiigui/source/FreeTypeGX.cpp:23: c:/Projects/wii/libwiigui/source/FreeTypeGX.h:155:22: warning: ft2build.h: No such file or directory c:/Projects/wii/libwiigui/source/FreeTypeGX.h:156:10: error: #include expects "FILENAME" or c:/Projeby profetylen - Coding
Yes, I have tried libwiigui. The problem is I can't figure out how it works. I have read everything on the wiki page, but it only tells me to learn from the included example. However, the example doesn't have a .pnproj file so I tried to check it out with the classical Notepad. However, to me all the files just displays random inunderstandable stuff and I don't know where to staby profetylen - Coding
How do everyone do this (I'm new to this)? I have went trough all the tutorials from codemii. It tells me how to display jpeg images, but that it isn't the best way to do graphics. What do all of you recommend? And how do I exactly load the image-files. Do I need a picture.s-file for that? My C knowledge is not very good ATM but I'm learning. Thanks in advance.by profetylen - Coding
What does exactly does WiiSCU do? Does it update to 4.0?by profetylen - Homebrew Applications
OK! I thought that was easy. Is the reason for the performance loss because of that it requires a lot of power from the DS to stream? However, there is a ds-emulator for the wii under development (if the following isn't a fake).by profetylen - Ideas, requests
QuotejarvoltAnd you say you're not asking about emulators, but that's the only way I can imagine it working. There's nothing built-into the Wii that lets it play DS games. I'm no programmer either, but I would not get your hopes up on this. Hm... I don't know how powerful the wireless connection between the wii and the DS is, but if it is powerful enough video and soundby profetylen - Ideas, requests
QuotepirmanrulesActually, based on the cryptic message on the bottom of the balance board (NOT LEGAL FOR TRADE), that would be illegal. Why??? QuoteBomberAs silly as it sounds, this could be very useful. Though, I think the hard part is someone would have to come up with an algorithm to find the weight by how much pressure is applied. Okay! No problem! :Dby profetylen - Homebrew General
Hm, I've got Mario Cart (and updated from it) and I'm on 3.1E, but anyways I am going to go with AnyRegion Changer, following Arikado's piece of advice, but if I can't figure out how that works I'll probably borrow SSBB from someone! Thank you! :Dby profetylen - Homebrew General
Okay! Thanks again. However, back to the IOS questions. I got a program for getting the wads containing the IOSes from the disc and the program for installing the wads. The problem is. How do I get the disc to my PC? My PC doesn't even find them when I put them into the DVD reader. Would it be legal to download a game that I already own and then get the IOS out of the downloaded gaby profetylen - Homebrew General
What SD-reader/writer models are you all using? I use a digital camera which I'm getting sick and tired of, so I'm considering buying an SD-reader/writer, and therefore I wonder which model is the best and what all other homebrewers are using? Is it worth buying one with SDHC support, I mean will there be a way to use a SDHC card without updating? Is SDHC supportive readers/writeby profetylen - Homebrew General
Okay! I just realized I'm not on 3.2, which I thought I was because I thought I had checked that earlier but, evidently I'm at 3.1.e. However I have not got a game disc with 3.2 but maybe any of my friends does and I could borrow one from them. The problem is I don't know what games that has 3.2. Do someone of you know? Or is there some other way to install 3.2?by profetylen - Homebrew General
