You guys know how we have to compile a new dev environment for bootmii. Well, can someone compile that for me for windows, I have a slow computer. And It would probably take weeks(slightly over exaggerated) to compile both the arm and ppc toolkits. *Note, if compiled with cygwin make sure it's NOT linked with the cygwin .dll's I would appreciate it if this was done and uploadedby Matando - Offtopic
I want to use my own code(currently non-existent) for use with bootmii. Now I have a few questions. 1. If I wanted to write code that utilizes mini, would there be a library for that? 2. If I were to write my own mini, I could use most os programming resources out there correct? but for the double processor problem how would I inject code toward the ppc processor so I can use video. tried loadmii, didn't change anything. Oh, and yes I tried everything from the larger list, w/ no other channels on the sd card. My System Menu version is 3.2U as stated above. And I contacted Comex telling him this but I unfortunatly go no reply :(by Matando - Offtopic
Okay, I really want to test out the bannerbomb exploit, but NONE of the files work. I tried them all. What happens is I formatted my 1GB Wii SD card to fat and extracted the zip archive to the root of my sd card, w/ folders intact. I then compiled the Hello World example and placed it on the root of the card renaming it to boot.dol. I then proceed to load up my wii without the SD card in aby Matando - Offtopic
if I remember correctly that's a linux command to delete a directory. replace it with a similar libfat function and your problem should be fixed (hopefully)by Matando - Coding
I need help cross-compiling libogg and libvorbis. when compiling I get the error: "warning: cannot find entry symbol _start; defaulting to 80004024" even though I gave the "LD", "CC", "CFLAGS", & "LDFLAGS" flags correctly. So can someone try and build the libraries, And if successful upload them for download, I need them so I can fully use SDL_mixer. Thanks. The download for those librarby Matando - Coding
It's sad, with all the stupid pirates and with what they've said. But I can't believe Marcan has left, honestly he shouldn't have given-a-damn about what they thought and not let it affect him. But his decision is his decision and it will be respected (at least by them members of this forum it will). I mean, Brakken is a complete jerk (lack of a better word) for what hby Matando - Offtopic
The file that it'll launch, will they be in a specific format, like .elf or something new. I want to know because I want to start coding as soon as possible, and I don't mind not using any libs. so Will the executable files be in a specific format, if so what ? :) *edit I don't intend to seem impatient but, I'm just a little excited about it. :pby Matando - Offtopic
awaiting you return, have a "fun" trip. *sidenote* lol, still not deleted :Pby Matando - Offtopic
this is not the place to talk about that see here: http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?1,6510by Matando - Offtopic
Unfortunately there is nothing like that for the wii, it would be nice but is way to big of a project for me, or any one person for that matter. Anyone want to try to create one.by Matando - Offtopic
Yea, I like the look of the bootmii interface, but please use english, even though this is offtopic :Pby Matando - Offtopic
NO!!!!!! (* slightly overdramatic but still) Official word: hackmii anyways, at least bootmii has and still is making progress :)by Matando - Offtopic
now it is again :( edit fixed once againby Matando - Offtopic

try taking MP3Player_PlayBuffer(buffer,lSize,NULL); out of the while statement. place it somewhere else., use this as a example(only one I found) MiniMP3 Playerby Matando - Coding
Okay, I need more help. This requires assembly knowledge, which I have none of. Here's the error and the file that needs fixing. Error: mpih-add1.S: Assembler messages: mpih-add1.S:36: Error: unknown pseudo-op: `.toc' mpih-add1.S:39: Error: unknown pseudo-op: `.csect' mpih-add1.S:43: Error: unknown pseudo-op: `.csect' mpih-add1.S:45: Error: junk at end of line, fiby Matando - Coding
is there anything in libogc that defines the stuff in <memory.h> because I can't find it and this library needs it.by Matando - Coding
lol, sorry should've given the error. That was not my error, and you sir did not follow Drack's Setup in Dracks Documentation, that's why you got that error! Drack's Documentation there's no path variable leading to $(DEVKITPPC)/bin Anyways this was my error when I ran this command, the one above is wrong, it's this one that I ran and then had to fix the LDFLAGSby Matando - Coding
I'm trying to port GNUTLS to the wii to ultimately port libpurple(IM library). Now GNUTLS requires 3 libraries, the first one compiled with few modifications. The link is below. Now the second lib I'm having trouble configuring because it lookes for which doesn't exist. It's all in libogc's Except I cant get in to cofigure to use that instead. So I need a little helby Matando - Coding
that would require ssl stuff. so unless you could use /dev/net/ssl(or what ever it is) somehow or port a library, you could code that yea. It's out of my league, but it can be done also, read about libogc on the forums and devkitPPc to get started on the wii aspect itself :)by Matando - Coding
Try removing anything to do with devkitPPC & msys from your path variable then add this to it(in the front and change the drive letter if necessary): C:\devkitPro\devkitPPC\libexec\gcc\powerpc-gekko\4.2.4;C:\devkitPro\devkitPPC\bin;C:\devkitPro\msys\bin; this should fix your problem :)by Matando - Coding
lol, this makes me feel special. Now I'm going to try to make my own network using project :) going for the gold with an irc client! probably won't be a sucess though #wiidev :p err... I think I'll stop with the editsby Matando - Coding
In the libogc examples there a network example. It's under "examples/gamecube/devices/network/". Even though its for gamecube it should work on the wii, I really don't see why it wouldn't. *edit: btw Happy belated Birthday :pby Matando - Coding
I know, I already solved it :p thx :)by Matando - Coding
thanks, I don't know why I didn't do that in the first place, lolby Matando - Coding
wow, I'd like to help, this would be great for making a web program(browser/email/im/etc) for the wii. Lol, I started the topic about 4 months ago, but it's okay. anyways drop me a pm or email (matand009@gmail.com) and I'll help you out. This should turn out good in the end :)by Matando - Coding
libwiisprite is the program I'm compiling :P was just using it as a test.by Matando - Coding
