Ah, alright. I was just worried that the stubbed IOSs would cripple more than that, but I guess it's no huge deal then. Thanks!by Tenken00 - Homebrew General
I'm currently running system menu 4.1 and have been avoiding 4.2/4.3 because the update stubs many IOSs that I use frequently. However, I want to visit the shop channel, and updating it via DOPMii failed, so I figure I should just get around to updating the whole menu. What's the best way to go about doing this without stubbing IOSs, or are they easy enough to fix after updating?by Tenken00 - Homebrew General
Alright, so on release day me and my brother went out to buy the conduit. To our dismay, it required a system update to play. Hesitantly, we went along with it. I'm not exactly sure what it did, I believe it brought us up to 3.4. Anyways, so we recently went through the annoying process of installing USB Loader GX. We had trouble getting it to work on 3.4, so we updated to 4.1. After thatby Tenken00 - The Junkyard
I'd have to agree with you there, but then I'd be a hypocrite. If you look at my other topic related to the SNES emulator I did something similar. However, I did put a whole lot more effort into it, and made it somewhat worthwhile...by Tenken00 - Homebrew Applications
.7z is an encrypted format. Extract the files with WinRAR or a similar program and them place them in your SD card. Now I don't know why I'm helping you after the complaint. Realize that people aren't going to respond right away, this isn't a terribly active forum. Next time do a little more research while waiting for a response and try to fix it on your own. Controllers worked fine for Genesis and NES emulators. HOWEVER, after playing the NES emulator, it too came with an update. It's user interface changed completely and now resembles a red SNES GX emulator. The same issue as the SNES emulator applies, except now the A and B buttons open up the menu. I believe this may be the work of some hacker who thinks it is funny or something. If somby Tenken00 - Homebrew Applications
When I loaded up SNES GX a few minutes ago, it claimed there was an update available. Of course I accepted it, but now there's a major issue. I cannot use my gamecube controllers with the emulator anymore. In any game, the X, Y, L, and R buttons will all cause the menu screen to open. Upon trying to reenter the game, it will freeze as the menu fades away. Playing with a basic Wii Remote willby Tenken00 - Homebrew Applications
I've been thinking about getting the HBC for a while, but was always worried about issues with updates. I already have the latest update that allows for increased SD card uses, but can I still install the HBC? So far, all I have seen is "Previously installed HB will not be affected". Can I still install it, though?by Tenken00 - Homebrew General
