say you want a channel for any of the sort like game cube, ps1, game boy advance or such forth, once you download the file and have it on your wii channel do you still have to the launcher on your sd card or will the channel act as launcher?

Okay so I've burnt both Spyro the Dragon and Legend of Legaia on one DVD-R disc.( for all the piracy fanatics out there i do in fact own both games and a ps1) The Only problem is that when i select to load Legend of Legaia it just freezes.. but Spyro works perfectly fine. Yes, in theory you should :) Use DVD-R and burn them in JOLIET format. what did you mean by burning them in JOLIET format? doesn't the emulator only read either .bin or .img files?

Also another note, I'm not sure how to update my system safely. (sorry I'm a noob) Kinda worried about bricking my Wii. So if it is a necessity could you please guide me or link me to a tutorial where it shows how to safely upgrade the system?

Well thanks replying. Lemme shed light on the situation. The Wiisx itself works version Beta 2, it's just I want it to play from DVD-R disc instead of reading it of the ISO from my SD card. And when I was reading in how to do that,m it said that I needed DVDX V2. Again not sure where to get that, how to install it and so on. please help me. it seems in order to get psx games on dvd to play on the Wii i need this DVDX V2 program thing... I'm not sure where to get it, where to install it, or even if I have to. Sorry to say but I'm not sure what verison of Homebrew I have so if someone could tell me how I can check that and a tutorial to how to install DVDX V2 i would really appreciate it. Thank you
