What some people have said makes me thing of wat Hyperhacker said have an app that reads a dvd that contains roms and when someone selects the rom the correct emulator will load thus combining the apps "dvd installer" and emulators such as "VBA" "SNES" etc if it's possible ill try to think of other combinationsby bobstar89 - Homebrew General
I was thinking about the idea of having the option to store emulators and roms on an external hard drive and make each emulator have the ability to read off the external this will provide at least 40 gb of data just for emulated gaming also i know this may be risky but is it possible to screw around with the wii software through homebrew to allow game data/ saves to be readable and storableby bobstar89 - Homebrew General
Will do thanksby bobstar89 - Coding
So the Wii64 app calls the roms from the dvd?by bobstar89 - Homebrew General
I will try, ill post in this thread if i think of other ideasby bobstar89 - Homebrew General
you mean the homebrew app? couldnt an update provide the functionality?by bobstar89 - Homebrew General
ok thanks and looking at the C++ examples I can see that its not too complicated so far, i will learn what each thing means. like the above user said, it's explained wellby bobstar89 - Coding
im just speculating about "what if" what if it where possible to have the dvd player app (don't know what it's called) be used as a directory for different emulators say in the dvd was every emulator and you could run the emulator and roms through the dvd. like i said this is just speculation and I am quite new to programming so I don't know if this is possibleby bobstar89 - Homebrew General
Guys i relized why it was unformatted I was opening it in Notepad, Wordpad works better, thanks anyway though. it looks like im off to study:Pby bobstar89 - Coding
so is everything done in C++ coding? I am really new to this and i don't know how to start really, I have goals but I dunno where to start. I have done coding in visual basic 6.0 thats my only programming history. I am persisting in finding out how to get this thing going though. I'll keep at the examples in devkitproby bobstar89 - Coding
a site or something that has examples of code for the devkit so I can gain experience the examples that came with the devkit were too unformatted they needed more word wrapping and spacing etc. i couldn't quite understand themby bobstar89 - Coding
or just give me sniplets of info, I cant seem to understand some of the coding and yes i am a noob:Pby bobstar89 - Coding
