Hello; I can't load png with port of sdl_image, bmp and jpg works... I've linked with libpng from the ported library page and the one in libwiisprite but I got the sdl error : "unsupported image format" with a core dump on the first line that use the surface...by TheDrev - Coding
I tried with a lot of values, including 0. Watching the source code of this function (which is self explanatory), we can see what parameters settings that produce errors... I assume that : - surface must have the same format surface. - Clipping is not supported (maybe that's why nothing is displayed is part of the image is 'out the screen',with dr.x negative)by TheDrev - Coding
I triedthis on a 3.4E, but it had no effetcs. I finally update to 4.0 because it's safe if you don't remove the homebrew chanelle, and the new exploit use 4.0....by TheDrev - Getting Started
I tried but I see no differances void draw (SDL_Surface *screen) { SDL_Rect dr; SDL_Rect sr; sr.x=0; sr.y=0; sr.h=480; sr.w=480; dr.h=480; dr.w=640; dr.x = (int)(sr.w - dr.w) / 2; dr.y = (int)(sr.h - dr.h) / 2; SDL_Surface *backbuffer = SDL_SetVideoMode( 640, 480, 8, SDL_FULLSCREEN); while (!done) { //Logic & blit on screen surby TheDrev - Coding
Thanks ! It is safe ? It's not documented and there is a warn. /* Not in public API at the moment - do not use! */ extern DECLSPEC int SDLCALL SDL_SoftStretch(SDL_Surface *src, SDL_Rect *srcrect, SDL_Surface *dst, SDL_Rect *dstrect); I'll test that anyway :Dby TheDrev - Coding
Hi ! I've made and port some games with wii-sdl, but I still got a question with the screen resolution. Say I got a tilemap of 15*15 tiles of 32*32 px. So the map size is 480*480. When the screen surface is created with that dimension, the resulting image is centered, the left and right sides of the TV is black, and cannot be used to blit. Apparently, the dimension that coveby TheDrev - Coding
I'll check that. Thanks to point the way read syscall read the filesystem. I don't want to re implement fat.h (I'm not bill gates ;) )by TheDrev - Coding
Ok, seems hacky, in the good meaning :) I'll check this later, see if can do something like that. For the moment I'll use the mini xml lib and use xml. As I said in my first post, I can also load the data with XML and serialize theme on the wii and then erase xml for the release. Also, I have just compiled gdbm (gnu hach library, like a data base ) with devkitpro, I will test it oby TheDrev - Coding
thanks, I understand what you mean, but it's too abtract now. Can you give an example ?by TheDrev - Coding
Hi ! I am making level editor on PC (wxwidgets around C for business functions) that can make binary serialized files with fwrite calls, of course the wii can't read these processor arch dependant files. I've browsed the internet to search serialzation libs libtpl seems great, but it can't be compiled with devkitppc, because of POSIX functions dependances : mman.h, wrby TheDrev - Coding
Hi ! Where can I found example of IOS system calls from C code. is it possible to read from the SD without fat.h, but directly with an IOS call?by TheDrev - Coding
