@Dr. Lucky So the emulator is (kind of) working? Oh... Ignore my last PM :P The "debugwiisx.elf" is just the devkitPro generated .elf. I put this on the pack just for guarantee. @Folks If anybody wants this rev47, send a PM for me, and I will pass the link. I will ask permission to the WiiSX crew before publicy posting the link, sorry.by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
@msailg Download the new version of HBB (0.2.3b). Just look for it on Wiibrew wiki. Or check teknecal's website: www.codemii.comby DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
As far I know, WAD manager doesn't works because it uses the signing bug, not because it's a DOL or a ELF (ie. have nothing to do with HBC, apart from the file type). Anyway, you can try Elf Converter to at least run the app, but unless you have a cIOS installed, you can't use WAD Manager.by DanielHueho - Homebrew General
Just to note, PCSXGC (or WiiSX, to use a more clear abreviation) source has already been released on Google Code page: I didn't tested yet (I will try this week), but I already have it compiled, if anyone wants the pack, send a PM (no public link)by DanielHueho - Homebrew General

1. Channels Freeware: you can use it only for what is programmed. Using a hacked Nintendo WAD to load your own code is illegal, I guess. Other thing: most freeware apps for PC follow a similar method, that's means, some developers only allow non-commercial use of this apps, for giving an example, and the fact it's a free-of-charge program doesn't mean it's free to modify. Well, anyway, is possible. Just to note, the Line Rider version of Wii was announced in the end of 2006... It take so long, they resolved to develop the sequel without the original, I guess :Pby DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
QuoteDrLuckyWow... I just read all 8 pages of this! Crash course in Wii ios! But I am confused about the banner code. The Homebrew Channel has banners in it, and a lot of the emu-channels have their own custom banners. I understand that the code used to change the banner might be Nintendo's, but how is Homebrew Channel the exception? If it is something completely original, why can'tby DanielHueho - Homebrew General
QuoteVBA GX Wiibrew ArticleUsing Save or state files from older versions may cause this version to CRASH or other strange side effects (no sound)! If you're having problems, delete your old save/state file, and/or turn off auto-load. Save/state files created/loaded with this version work fine. The people here are kind of paranoid with piracy... But anyway, like Arikado saids, find the solution by yourself. A hint: look for GBA... Also, c'mon... You don't need to go saying "you are a game programmer". Most people will just think "liar" :Pby DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
TheManuel (why not just Manuel? :P), Homebrew Channel beta9 is already compatible with 23Oct update. And there's no such thing as "unnoficial firmware". Nintendo can disable homebrew on Wii, if they really try. But for now, is completely safe to keep going with the homebrew stuff. If you didn't installed the update, is recommended to not do it, though, because it disables some apps,by DanielHueho - Homebrew General
If you don't have a previously installed cIOS, you can't use WAD Manager anymore. End of story.by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications

@superflysocal Installing apps on a SD card is different than installing apps on the Wii internal memory (also known as NAND memory). Because you are a newbie and a bit paranoic (you said it :P ), the 23Oct update will makes NO difference for you after all, unless: A. I have checked Hackmii just now and I read something that made me smile (almost laugh), on the BootMii post: QuoteDeozanYou said you didn’t think Nintendo would block BootMii, but that’s exactly what they’ve done with the new system update. Hmm... Well, this update is "only" for using Shop Channel. Personally I will wait for BootMii release before updating. Besides, I live outside USA, and the dollar is just too high for me... :P I don't think that BootMii will solve all the problem, though. I just want to test it. I know that maybe this is kind of a "prohibited talk" over Wiibrew... But that is: Nintendo finally did something concrete about Wii piracy. Now WAD installers and backup loaders are out of the business. I don't think this is really BAD, looks like usual homebrew are not affected.
