Wow, with reading all this, I am glade that I have sat on the sidelines so to speak, I as only really use the wii as a video player that streams over the wifi.. Good evening all and thank you to one all who help make this the best and most informing site there is.... My son has a few videos in the DPG format for his DS lite stored on this computer. The computer is WIFI networked in to the WII and Mplayer CE... as we watch AVI on the telly, thank to homebrew channel and Mplayer. Thank you for your reply.. and advise.. I swapped thinking and changed to using the SMP... I went back to basics and started again.. reset my file sharing on my PC and my sons Laptop, plus my network hard drive thats attached directly to the home hub.. Re edited the smb.conf file with the IP address.. Hey, the old addage Back to Basics.... Works... SO a BIG thank you to all withinby openm17558 - Homebrew Applications

Hello, to all.. I have been read and learn from the site, but sadly can still not get the connection nailed between my Wii Mplayer and my network hard drive.. I know I must be so close and doing something very very silly.. but aaaagggghhhhh... I can access my wireless network harddrive from my pc's and kids laptop's using explorer and [192.xx.xx.xx] without any problems.. Iby openm17558 - Homebrew Applications
