I've never any of these problems with the new HBC (other than it being kinda dark). And i'm on 4.3 with a good ol' wad (don't ask me why I did it...I was bored). The only odd things that happen to me was going to bootmii and back to the system menu it will would go black and go back to HBC but that oddly went away over time. And sometimes i would see the last frame of the appby SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
You just may want to again about that black wii (and other new wiis), they can't play DVDs but I guess you can use a USB...just giving you the heads up. But yeah, TT has done so much for the wii scene. They just about ARE the wii scene. It not enough just to make their stuff work. They gotta make it the best it can be for all the brewers out there.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
Ahhhh I was thinking about the old version of the that boot2. Yeah SifJar is right. But it can be used to be a downgrading tool. But their no need for it now that their are saver methods.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
It would be nice to have music in HBC. Hopefully in a later version, but I guess it best to let TT do their thing. As for HBF...never heard of it, maybe I should look it up.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
QuoteAobxYeah, I know that. It's just I'm curious about every solution, even the less recommended ones. I don't know if it's supported, probably not, because I've seen it used for piracy, but there's a kind of a custom boot2, you should know what I'm talking about. The fact it's using MINI means it can bypass IOSes protections, so it's a kind of expby SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545Use Dop-Mii rather than TBR (They can do the same thing; Restore fakesigning AKA trucha bug). That's what I meant. Maybe I should'a made it clearer... =P But nevertheless it should work. Cheers!by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
Black wii eh? Well all black wii's can't play any kind of burned/retail DVD's (other than wii disks of course), you still play movie/music via USB. It is best to use DOP-Mii to use TBR (aka. Trucha Bug Restorer). Then use the install USB 2.0 cIOS. (Oh yeah, you should not touch any else in DOP-Mii after using TBR)by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
Try formatting your SD card. If that fails you may have delete your saved data. Or try cleaning out your custom stages.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
This will most lightly not be it, but it's worth a try. Do you have priiloader hacks made for your system menu? Or maybe you should try Ocarina.by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
QuoteWiiJohnOn the Priiloader main screen at the bottom left it states as you say, for 4.1 IOS60, (I have the setting use system IOS) When I tested 4.3 it did show IOS80. Thanks, you have gave me some good info yet again WiiJohn. Oh, and guys with 4.3 wii's lets all just wait for the new hackmii installer. Team Twiizers are doing this free remember? So let all just be happy for that. =)by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
You may use dop-mii but Mestizo's way is saver easier.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
QuotedacotacoQuoteSolidMario7@dacotaco: I've heard it works, but what i'm thinking is will priiloader put itself on IOS80? Or is it still on IOS70 and works? It makes a differents it'll be nice to know. :) i think ppl fail to understand that , unlike preloader , priiloader does not need any patches in the system menu ios and therefor just works on almost all ios versions to date...by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
QuoteWiiJohnQuotedacotacoQuoteSolidMario7 3. a priiloader update with IOS 80 support about that... eventho i said on the google code page that updating is a bad idea; i didn't say it doesn't support 4.3 it can work with system menu 4.3 just fine (in theory. mind you i was running sneek which changes alot). i just dont support 4.3 officially yet :) I tried the and priiloadeby SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
Yes their is, and it one of my favorite apps its called WiiXplorer go get at wiibrew.org or at homebrew browser. You should learn more about homebrew and other wii stuff at wiibrew.org you'll learn alot there. Its like a readme but bigger ahaha.by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
QuoteoldtopmanQuoteSifJarNo. You don't need them because Brawl+ (or Brawl- or whatever) comes in .GCT format... The FS inside of the archive is mostly in two parts, "codes>RBSE01.gct" and "private>wii>app>RBSE>replacement fles" Is it possible to have Brawl+ and Brawl- installed at the same time? 1) I'm sure (not a 100%) all you need is to put the codes folder (alonby SolidMario7 - Getting Started
QuoteSifJarNo. You don't need them because Brawl+ (or Brawl- or whatever) comes in .GCT format, meaning its ready. If you want to use cheats (i.e. non-Brawl+ stuff), you'll need what was mentioned above True, but you can also get Brawl+ on homebrew browser.by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
You will not need USB Gecko to use cheats, USB Gecko is mostly used for debugging as of now. First of all you will need a few thing 1. a cheat downloader 2. a cheat manager 3. Gecko OS. You can get this easy by using the homebrew bowser. Look at wiibrew.org for more details. (On a side note do not update your wii to 4.3)by SolidMario7 - Getting Started
I'm not even gonna think about installing 4.3 until: 1. Dop-Mii comes out with a safe way to update 2. another great HackMii Installer is made 3. a priiloader update with IOS 80 support 4. damysteryman makes another awesome releaseby SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
Well I hate the fact that nintendo keeps trying to kill homebrew. Well i could'int update even if i pressed the update button, do to having the hack.ini file in my wii ahaha.by SolidMario7 - Homebrew General
