You could sprapaint your wii to make it black, then it would look cool, and be softmodibleby g_man - Offtopic
Yah, I'm getting some of the same problems with a few select homebrew apps, Even the one that i have downloaded from the homebrew browser. It is probably a bug.by g_man - Getting Started

QuoteSteelSLasher also, in this for loop the inner loop will run 3 times for every run of the outer loop which might cause something unexpected for(y=30;y<480;y+=(48+30)){ for(x=28;x<640;x+=(128+25)){ applist.appimg.LoadImage(applist.getPngDir()); applist.appspr.SetImage(&applist.appimg); applist.appspr.SetPosition(x,y); manager.Append(&applist.appspr); i++; } } Tby g_man - Coding
Ok, I'll try that. The reason for 48+30 is that it makes more sense. I'm adding the width of the image(48) + 30, it is easier to understandby g_man - Coding
Thanks Arikado, but now i have another problem, not realated to writing text, but to libwiisprite. when i leave this code out, my program works fine for(i=3;i<=dircounter;i++){ if(opendir(applist.getDir())){ // Good practice dp = opendir(applist.getDir()); while((ep = readdir(dp))){ //While there is a directory to read if (strcmp(strlower(ep->d_name), "icon.png")){ strcpyby g_man - Coding
I'll have a look at that. Libwiigui looks very powerful, but it was very hard for me to figure out what the program did, and how it worked by the docs, and example program. It has potenetial, but it needs more examples.by g_man - Coding
I'll try libwiigui, I havent ever used libwiisprite, I just had heard about itby g_man - Coding
How do you write text to the screen with libwiisprite, and if you can't then is there another c++ library that can draw sprites and let me write text to the screen.by g_man - Coding
It works now. LOL my error was that i forgot to add //strcpy(appnames,(ep->d_name)); It works now thanks for helping EDIT: OK, I'm trying to delete a folder with unlink("folder_name");. I can get it to work when i delete all the files in a folder, then delete the folder, but I don't want to have to do this. So, is there a way to delete a folder, without deleting all of the fiby g_man - Coding
OK, I'm getting an stack dump, at this line i belive if(opendir(path)) I found this out by changing my code to this. for(i = 3;i<=dircounter;i++){ //For each folder... puts("1111111111111"); sleep(1); strcpy(path, appdir); //Copy SD:/apps to path puts("2222222222222"); sleep(1); strcat(path, appnames); //add the app name to the end of path puts("3333333333333");by g_man - Coding
Here you go: #include stdio.h> //< #include stdlib.h> #include gccore.h> #include wiiuse/wpad.h> #include fat.h> #include unistd.h> #include sys/types.h> #include dirent.h> #include string.h> static void *xfb = NULL; static GXRModeObj *rmode = NULL; //Global variables FILE *fileptr = NULL; char path[30]; //Prints a message then quits void diby g_man - Coding
Ok, using strcpy gave me a stack dump, I used this code strcpy(appnames,(ep->d_name)); I also tried memcpy, and it did the same thing memcpy((void*)appnames,(void*)(ep->d_name),strlen((ep->d_name))+1);by g_man - Coding
Ok, so i've had bootmii since it came out. I still have the original version. But, anyway, I decided to finally backup my nand. It got about 3/4ths of the way done, then it sayed: bootmii failure -1 It still stayed on the screen that the rest of the process was using. The one that says not to power off the wii. I'm wondering if it's safe to turn off the wii, and what caused theby g_man - BootMii Beta
Ok, this should hopefully be my last error. When i try to save the names of the directories, it doesn't work. AKA what is wrong with this statement appnames = (ep->d_name); This code right before it works puts(ep->d_name); thanksby g_man - Coding
Looks good i'll try it when i can EDIT: I tried it and it worked :) I hope i can get the rest working. thanks EDIT2: Ok I have a problem, which i belive to be caused by this line if((ep->d_name == "boot.dol") || (ep->d_name == "boot.elf")) gcc gives me a warning warning: comparison with string literal results in unspecified behaviour My code runs and i can get to my eby g_man - Coding
Hello Everyone, I cannot figure out how to get the file/directory names of the current working directory(like the ls command in linux, or dir in windows). I have already searched google, and read through the sources of a couple programs, but it is hard to understand. So, can anyone help me. any help is apprecated thanksby g_man - Coding
I'm compiling a program using SDL for windows, and I'm getting a linker error, and I can't figure out why. I know SDL is installed correctly because I have run other programs with it, and I have checked and the DLL's are all the same, I'm using Dev-C++ for my IDE and i have checked my .Dev files and they are exactly the same. The only difference is the names of .cpp fileby g_man - Offtopic
Thanks, i'm newish to C++ so i forget the little errors, i found out that the other ones were from me forgeting to add () after my functions, LOL I fixed all of my errors, and I finally have it running :)by g_man - Coding
Thanks your code worked, i did have to mess with the loops a bit. EDIT: Ok I have another problem, I think i've narrowed it down to 2 main places Here: SDL_Surface *load_image( string filename ) { //The image that's loaded SDL_Surface* loadedImage = NULL; //The optimized image that will be used SDL_Surface* optimizedImage = NULL; //Load the imageby g_man - Coding
thanks that fixed some of my issues, but it still won't change screens. the only reason i was using that sleep function was because i'm used to have a sleep function from C. I have the newest version of SDL, and if you think there is a better library than tell me. The goal is to make some kind of legend of zelda battle game.by g_man - Coding
This may be the wrong catagory, but i'm having a problem with SDL.(for windows, not wii) It compiles with no errors, but when i exicute it , it pops the hourglass mouse and when i click it stops responding.
