Ok i lost most of the errors, i put grrlib.h and grrlib.c in my header, so i got rid of grrlib.c and got this error main.c d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/main.c: In function 'Initialise': d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/main.c:48: warning: implicit declaration of function 'GRRLIB_InitVideo' linking ... pong.elf d:/devkitpro/devkitppc/bin/../lib/gcc/powerpc-gekko/4.2.4/by g_man - Coding
now i get this. main.c In file included from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/GRRLIB/../libjpeg/jpeglib.h:26, from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/GRRLIB/GRRLIB.c:16, from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/main.c:10: d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/GRRLIB/../libjpeg/jmorecfg.h:227: error: conflicting types for 'u8' d:/devkitPro/libogc/include/gctypby g_man - Coding
thanks, but what should i change it to? i found the code that uses these and i just use the templete from the codemii tutorial Here is where i found all of the rmode and xbf VIDEO_Init(); WPAD_Init(); GRRLIB_Init(); rmode = VIDEO_GetPreferredMode(NULL); xfb = MEM_K0_TO_K1(SYS_AllocateFramebuffer(rmode)); console_init(xfb,20,20,rmode->fbWidth,rmode->xfbHeight,rmode->fby g_man - Coding
Thanks, but i'm still getting an error, it seems like it can't find certain functions. thanks for the fast responce main.c In file included from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/GRRLIB/../libjpeg/jpeglib.h:26, from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/GRRLIB/GRRLIB.c:16, from d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/main.c:10: d:/homebrew/mystuff/pong/source/by g_man - Coding
Here is my makefile, and all i'm trying to do is to load a png or jpg image and print it on screen. #--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Clear the implicit built in rules #--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- .SUFFIXES: #-------------------------------------------------------------------------by g_man - Coding
I'm probably making some stupid mistake, but it isn't working. i don't think the problem is in the makefile because it isn't even linking it yet. the error i'm getting is main.c In file included from d:/Homebrew/mystuff/Pong/source/GRRLIB/../libjpeg/jpeglib.h:26, from d:/Homebrew/mystuff/Pong/source/GRRLIB/GRRLIB.c:16, from d:/Homeby g_man - Coding
I can figure out how to enable GRRLIB. I have put the include files in a GRRLIB file in the include file in devkitpro. D:\devkitPro\libogc\include\GRRLIB I put the library files in the root of the lib folder D:\devkitPro\libogc\lib I copyed the additonal code from the GRRLIB Template file, but my problem is in the makefile. it says GRRLIB.c linking ... pong.elf d:/devkitpro/devkitppby g_man - Coding
I still didn't get any X values, and there is opening brackets around my #include's here is my source #include stdio.h> #include stdlib.h> #include string.h> #include malloc.h> #include ogcsys.h> #include gccore.h> #include wiiuse/wpad.h> static u32 *xfb; static GXRModeObj *rmode; ir_t ir; void Initialise() { VIDEO_Init(); WPAD_Initby g_man - Coding
ya it's outside now but i still get the same problem, also it gives me a screen with a code dump on it, how can i fix this? is iit possible that sombody could make a program that works for the pointer(it can be as simple as printing x and y values) and test it to make sure it works and then post it?by g_man - Coding
thanks but still when i put %f it gives me 0 ALLWAYS for the x value and i get a range of Y's, is this a hardware issue, i dont think so because it works normally and on other apps, like the homebrew browser.by g_man - Coding
I have made a simple program that is supposed to track the ir position of the wiimote, but i only get y positions, the x positions i get are 0 or 1.401298e-45. here is the code #include #include #include #include #include #include #include #include static u32 *xfb; static GXRModeObj *rmode; ir_t ir; void Initialise() { VIDEO_Init(); WPAD_Init(); rmode =by g_man - Coding
QuoteBotskizCorrect me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this expression always be 1, since both values are non zero and you're comparing them with a logical or? (WPAD_GUITAR_HERO_3_BUTTON_STRUM_DOWN || WPAD_GUITAR_HERO_3_BUTTON_STRUM_UP ) Obviously this would result in unwanted results in your second if statement, since you end up doing a binary and operation with buttonsDown and 1, iby g_man - Coding
FTPii is a good app for putting files on your wii, you have to know a little about FTP though with FTPii you can veiw the files on you wii like an ftp site and i bleive you can delete stuff from it too to connect you any ftp program or a web brower and enter the ip of you wii for the ftp name, or where the x's are your ip addressby g_man - Getting Started
OK i put the code into my main function, but it isn't working, i could be making a stupid mistake, but i put the 2nd part in my main function and i did the same with the first one. When i compile there are no errors but nothing happens when i go left and right on the joystick. I know that my nunchuk is working because it can detect when i push Z. I also replaced the moveleft and moveright fby g_man - Coding
What is the function for the nunchuk joystick? i can't find it thanksby g_man - Coding
I'm just beggining proggramming for the wii, but i do have some background C experience. I was wondering, i can get the guitar hero controller to recognize when green is pressed, but not when i have strummed. I have coppied the code for it straight from the header file and it doesn't give me an error. Here is the code: WPAD_ScanPads(); u32 buttonsDown = WPAD_ButtonsDown(0by g_man - Coding
