SifJar, AnyTitle Deleter will remove the channel tickets, but will leave some traces of its own. I think that, in any case, it is better to leave the channel ticket lying out there than AnyTitle Deleter traces... Just go safe and delete the channel using the Wii's file management settings.by Axel - Homebrew General
It's a forced update only in the way that you will not be able to enter the shop channel if you don't update. But since you are still in 3.1 I don't think that really means anything to you :P So no, you don't need to update if you don't want to.by Axel - Getting Started
There is no way under 4.3 other than using a patched IOS, which is not supported at the forums ATM. I hope this is enough to answer your question.by Axel - Getting Started
Maybe he meant 4.3 :) Or maybe he just doesn't know that 4.3 is out and thinks 4.2 is the latest. There should be no problems if he updates to 4.3 through the official process, since new Priiloader version works well on 4.3 also. However, my recommendation would be, first of all before doing anything else, to update HBC and BootMii boot2 to their latest revisions (1.0.8 and 1.3 respecby Axel - Getting Started
And whatever you do, don't use AnyTitle Deleter to remove installed homebrew!!! AnyTitle Deleter leaves a lot of traces itself, which are detected by Nintendo Support and will deny to fix your Wii!by Axel - Homebrew General
Why don't you ask your parents for the parental code? xD LOL!by Axel - Homebrew General
It would be great if a new DOP-Mii version >14 could detect this IOS and effectively remove it from the system.by Axel - Homebrew General
I could finally trace how IOS0 (detected by HackMii installer) is being created! This point was brought out on an old thread, but I decided to create a new one instead of brining a death thread back. The answer is simple: It is created by DOP-Mii v <= 13 whenever you install a IOS. I have not tested v14 to see if it also creates it or not. I don't think I will test for that anytiby Axel - Homebrew General
The channel installers don't replace the emulator in your SD. You need both. Installing the channel is optional. It install a channel in your WiiMenu that allows you launching the emulator from there instead of having to launch it from the HBC. Personally, I don't see any advantage to channels, other than looking 'cool' in your Wii. I rather launching my homebrew from tby Axel - Getting Started
If he can not afford buying any of the games, he doesn't have to. You don't need them for more than a couple hours. Rent them at your closest blockbuster :)by Axel - Getting Started
It is strange. If you say that the installer loads and the exception is thrown until you select to install the HBC, then there is nothing wrong with the SD card or the exploit.by Axel - Getting Started
QuoteLuigi886Not just for that, and I have reasons which I won't tell you. We won't ever tell you anything else regarding changing the wii region either :) Are you with me, guys?by Axel - Homebrew Applications
QuoteLuigi886I know... But I just feel like a complete MORON right now... -.- Dude, you have not done anything terrible. You are just inexperienced. Just chill and don't try to help others only to show off. Eventually you will be able to help when you have learned enough, right now it is too soon. Nobody has anything against you, soon everyone will have forgotten.by Axel - Homebrew General
QuoteLuigi886Quite a few thing you have left out, mai boi. Have you unzipped the needed files yet? Like files for The Homebrew Beowser and stuff? It's ESSENTIAL, I learned THAT from experience. If you've done this, we can get closer to your problem. ;] *thump* Luigi... you are the only one I know, or I ever heard of, that didn't unzip the zip files and deleted the exploiby Axel - Getting Started
Then try installing IOS58 if you don't want to update your Wii to 4.3. You can use the Tantric's IOS58 Installer from here: After you do so, reinstall your HBC channel so it will recognize it and make use of it.by Axel - Homebrew Applications
Will you get off our heads ever? :) No, seriously Luigi, you should not try to do things you don't fully understand and you are not prepared to do. AnyRegion Changer doesn't do what you think it does. Stick to what you currently know how to do, and before trying something else, first read about it, make sure you understand it, analyze if you really want that, learn how to do it prby Axel - Homebrew Applications
QuoteLuigi886Actually, I think the reason they're giving them to people is for those who cannot access The Shop Channel? :| ?? How would that help?by Axel - Homebrew General
Well, that is step #1 in the smashstack guide :) Quote1.Go to the stage builder, move any existing custom stages on Brawl to your SD card, and exit the stage builder. Smash Stack will not work if the console has any custom stages on it, even the three samples that come with a new file. Thanks anyway for sharing with the rest of people, they might be missing that very same step too :)by Axel - Getting Started
Phew, I don't want to go through all of it again!!! (You know what I am talking about!)by Axel - Getting Started
Off topic: LOL guys! You really do have a lot of patience to continue dealing with this 'situation'. Just tell the kid he should not mess with his Wii.by Axel - Homebrew Applications
QuotealexanatI just deleted my BootMii files and reinstalled it and prepared the SD card and now I am backing up my NAND. Cool. Yes, sometimes that works too :) Keep in mind that eventhough backing up your NAND will not save you from a full brick since you can not install BootMii as boot2, it might come in handy if you make some modification to your wii and then you don't like it, or itby Axel - Getting Started
QuotemdbrimOh My God! where did you hear that wiicat? Amazing, we need to get the word out!!! ROFLMAO!! Yes, we all thank you for registering and sharing this important info with us!by Axel - BootMii Beta
QuoteSifJarIt seems completely ridiculous to me that they are forcing those extra channels on people, considering that most people who don't have them probably either don't have internet, so can't make any use of them, or else has made a decision NOT to download them, because they feel they're useless and not worth wasting space on. Weasel: Please try with the shareware wad and let us know if it worked for you. What version is your Doom WAD? (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.666, 1.9, Ultimate) Arikado: I was reviewing the code and I realized that X and Y are unused in the Classic controller. As far as we know, Metroid Other M does not include additional/updated IOSes. It will most likely only install those missing free channels. What I don't know is if you delete them, it will ask you to update again, that would make those channels non-optional for most users who don't know how to circumvent the disc update. But don't worry, if you update with the disc it will noby Axel - Homebrew General
LOL xD Yes, well, Doom uses many less buttons than Heretic and Hexen, we have a lot of free buttons :) At least you found a place to map it where it feels quite right, in any other button it feels weird to have it... What do you think about the analog sticks? They feel cool, huh? Planning on implementing that to your other ports? :Dby Axel - Homebrew Applications

Yes, don't worry. I hope you have now re-installed bootmii as boot2. 4.3 is not that bad, you will not lose anything homebrew related :) and now you don't have to worry about manually updating the shop channel or running metroid through gecko os :Dby Axel - Homebrew General
