Well I guess ninty got there way and have released menu 4.3, I have my wii connect24 on to get notices and just now saw it flashing blue so I decided to check it and it told me they now have 4.3 menu released and I that I could update, which of course I choose not to to prevent demolishing my homebrew channel. So with that did they just now release it, or has anybody heard of this being releasedby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Well my problem was nothing would work in the disc channel, so I had to reinstall all IOS's skipping the stubbed ones. And then my disc channel would work, if you go back through this post and there is another post I made too, it might be in that one that tells what I had to do to get it to work.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Yup what I do with mine, since I can watch movies on it, plus its smaller than a dvd player, and plus I gave my dvd player to my stepdaughter since the one she had didn't have remote so she couldn't access menus.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
But couldn't he get a drive that would allow dvd playback? There is a place online that has parts to fix and repair wii's but couldn't remember the place.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
I don't know there was a post somewhere they said what drives were in the new wii's. There is a place on line that carries the parts for wii's I don't know what it is, might do a search for it and find it. It had to do with a drive going out and somebody posted a link to the site.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Are you useing mplayer ce or just mplayer? mplayer ce is better, but you could have a newer drive. If you don't have mplayer ce try it and see if it works for you.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

Well my work provides my health insurance, but from what i understand, they are making it mandatory that you have to have insurance, if you don't have it you are fined for not haveing. Its going to cost the middle class working people like me. So its fair I get taxed, and have to work even harder to pay for somebody elses health insurance, even after years of crap they tell you to stop smokby dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
I run a 1gig micro sd card in a sd card adapter in my wii and never have any problems with anything running so far. (knock on wood)by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

QuoteprofetylenQuotedirtrider73068Its not really a artist, its a loop of a song that was loaded to play on the HBB. Well, the person who has written that loop should be the artist that made it, shouldn't he/she? Well yea actually it would be a artist song that was put into a loop. So yes there would be a artist that created that song from that loop. I misworded what I had typed, my fault.by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
You don't have to ebay for a sd card wally world has them for about 20 bucks for a 4gig, unless you want one for less.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

Is the tutorial on the homebrew setup is the bannerbomb v2, is this how you done yours? Follow the steps in that tutorial, if it still don't work the sd card could be bad and is not working right.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started

There really isn't any difference staying on anything lower, 4.2 gives you the option of accessing the sd card from the channel menu, it will be on the bottom left corner. Rather than going in the data management part.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Why not update to 4.2 and use bannerbomb v2.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Well maybe that's what it is I haven't been around long enough to get my stomach full of the laziness that other have. It seems it the small stuff that shouldn't be a bother, to me its not. But like you said even given the link to exact spot to read and they don't then yes that would be irritating. But what do you with people like that, when given the info right in front of thby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
But you still don't have to be hateful and point out they are stupid when you they over look something. The way he asked about I would have just as simply put a link to where dvdx was or just told him how it worked would have been easier then be hateful to him over something so trivial.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Update to 4.2 that the latest and use bannerbomb v2 then you will need the homebrew browser you can find all you need to know on the wiki on how to install everything you need after reading some of that and following what it says if you still help let us know. Follow those steps you won't brick, 4.2 gives you the the option of accessing the sd card menu on the system menu screen, whichby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Cactusjack901, first you need to chill out, people come here to seek help and information for a reason they don't understand what they are doing or looking for. If you like to tell people they are stupid then maybe you need to either go somewhere else or don't volunteer your help. It could be he didn't know where to go read up dvdx, and needed somebody to point out where to go so hby dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
Well mines comes from needing a separate email account from my ex wifes years back. She got her own well so did I, had to put some thought into mine I wanted it cool, easy to remember and to represent what and who I was and what I enjoyed doing all in one name. So dirtrider was born, the 73068 is the zip code I was liveing in and we still live in, so I put the two together and had dirtrider73068.by dirtrider73068 - Offtopic
Well here is an idea if I have a problem with a app running, I look at another and set it up like it. So if gen plus is working set it up like it is, with the exception of roms. I just checked my sd card and this is how mine is set up. Mine is set both on the root of the sd card and in the apps folder. One thing I have also found with the current fce ultra gx you don't need a rom folder it wby dirtrider73068 - Homebrew Applications
I know you can change the music in the home brew browser, but not sure about the homebrew channel menu. If it can be done it would be pretty cool, but being able to have music for each app listed in the menu I think would be hard to assign, but migh can be down but may be doubtful. Someone that knows that well will chime in.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
The adapter is if you don't have a wifi setup but can hardwire it so its connected to the internet. You can use the wifi its safe and won't hurt it. EDIT yes you can tell it to update again it won't hurt it, in fact I did a double update on mine trying to fix a issue it had.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
If you unplug it or lose power it will brick, or if you have stuff that is not supported here will likely brick it with update. Other than that I see it being safe to update through wifi. If not mistaken there is an adapter you can get and connect the wii through a ethernet cord and not go wifi.by dirtrider73068 - Homebrew General
You need a folder on the root of your sd card called apps, inside this folder you can put apps to show up in the homebrew channel.by dirtrider73068 - Getting Started
