Of course, you can specifiy additional things, such as the include folders so that Intelisense can find the headerfiles and parse them.by henke37 - Coding

I think it is a bug in libfat or something that libfat uses. That and I think you need to manually unlock the memory cards before usage.by henke37 - Coding

It's the normal make comands, you just specify that it has to be make, that it has to be using the right makefile (if you didn't name your one Makefile) and what the build target is.by henke37 - Coding

I did, it wasn't hard, I just made a makefile project and entered the proper build commands, the include search paths and so on.by henke37 - Coding

Honestly, I think that the people that are editing the libogc directory are insane. There is no need to edit it just to use a 3rd party library that doesn't do any file edits. That's just sloppy work to do that.by henke37 - Coding

I've never felt that there is too much in Visual Studio. And nmake is not a compiler, it is the build system control program. But only for makefile projects I think.by henke37 - Coding

Or you could just use a more common character encoding, like the one all other computers uses, the ones based on the ascii encoding. Also note that what you are describing is a fixed width font. Now, they are not bad, but know how they differ from variable width fonts.by henke37 - Coding

Ew, cygwin! Just get visual studio and get serious. The express edition is only slightly limited and is more than enough for almost everyone. And most importantly, it is free (as in beer) (if you register it at no cost). It is a big download, but it is ore than worth a few hours of downloading. It just has so much more to offer than devcpp, it got a solid help system, an easy to use build systemby henke37 - Coding

You got 3 options: *C++ *C *Asm Trust me, only mad people uses asm, so that one is out. And C++ is mostly C with added features, I say, go for C++. But get a good book about C++, it has a lot to give. Like premade containers and all the fun with overloaded operators, constructors and destructors. It would involve creating a new IOS module to hook the existing input systems if you want existing games to use it. That or big patch works of the game executables. But for homebrew only, it should be no harder than USB drivers for other platforms.by henke37 - Coding

Yeah, I am still having issues with it. For some reason, it keeps corrupting the heap memory, and I can not find where that happens. So I am asking for some help in hunting down the location of the corruption. I have tracked it down to occur somewhere between line 151 and line 207, since the crash is on line 208 and the data was fine after leaving the loop at line 151. Personally I just plain avoid the pixels array and make my own bitmap array that's easy to address in. And when I am done, I call the now overloaded _Flush method to copy the changes to the _pixels array (and to flush the memory too).by henke37 - Coding
