Homebrew Browser Channel Installer

As some may know, I have been working on a legal channel for HBB. I finally have made some progress on it again and am about to be able to offer a Closed Beta/Release Candidate. The issue is that I need a logo for it for in the installer and also for HBC launching. So I come to ask you for 2 things: 1) Anyone interested in helping with the closed beta/release candidate test needs to PM me I will approve or disapprove you (do note that there will be a disclaimer that you will have to agree to after you are approved), and 2) I am going to need a logo made by some of you wonderful artists.

Now THAT sounds cool.

Animated or/and non-animated banner? I use Flash Pro 8 if you are asking.

It will be non-animated for now until I get into Benzin more. I already have the banner and all done I just need an icon for in the installer and for the HBC icon.

Well the turnout for Beta-testers has been good, but I still need 1 more tester before I will stop accepting people. So last chance offer.

The beta hasn't been released just yet. Those pictures are concepts of what I could use for the logo and such.

so this channel and hbc are the only legal channels?

No. There are a few channels lurking about made with Benzin that are also legal, but I wouldn't personally trust the sources myself. They were on sites like GBAFail. So it possibly is the second legal channel, but apparantly not.

i dont think anyone will spend their time looking for legal channels, they would just have the app as a dol and launch it thru hbc

Just curious, how can this stuff be illegal. i can see how it voids your warrenty but how is it illegal

This one isnt. Most custom channels use banner code that is copyrighted nintendo code therefore illegal. This one isnt because it was made with benzin.

So will this be available in dol/elf form?

well, the installer will, this will install a channel along the vein of the homebrew channel, but for the homebrew browser. It'll be 100% legal, and to my knowledge, endorsed by teknical, making it the official HBB channel

Will it work without Trucha?

no idea, we haven't been sent the beta yet, and even then, I'm not sure how much we can talk about it
