Virgin Wii v3.1 quick question

I've searched the forums and the internet so I hope this isn't a redundant question

I haven't done any updating (and I don't ever want to) and I used the hackmii installer v.0.6

I installed homebrew - no prob
and DVDX - no prob

but I didn't try to install bootmii ibecause it said it was unable to and gave the "The installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install" error. which i have read up on and understand that my wii will never be able to use.

I didn't dare try and run the installer when i saw the error, will it install as an iso if i click on it?
If not how do I install bootmii as an sysmenu iso?
What are my other options for an app that will do the same?

Installing bootmii as IOS isn't very useful, but you can still do it without worry, even if you can't install to boot2.
