yeah, you're fine. x86 Processors are 32 Bit, x86-64 Processors are 64 bit, G4 PPC processors are 32 bit, and G5 PPC processors are 64-bit (iirc, the G5 processor was one of the first true 64-bit processors)


Basically, if you have a modern computer (i.e. runs OS X), you have a 32 or 64-bit processor

well i downloaded it and burned it to a disc and now i dont know how to set it up... could someone please give me a step by step guide on how to set this up. I keep getting the

CDROM boot failure code : 0003
Boot from CD_Rom failed
Fatal: Could not read the boot disk.

Please help i dont know what i did wrong and thanks in advance! please keep in mind that i am using Qemu. A guide to use that would be nice but i will use another FREE application if necessary.

what OS did you put on a disc?

I assume Windows 7. I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with Qemu. Hang on a minute.

i put windows 7 64-bit on the CD and thanks i will try virtual box!

Edit: ooooohh it seems virtual box is for intel macs only... anything else? thanks for all the help.

Oh. Um, I'll have a look. BTW, I found that on google, you should try it ;)

EDIT: Can't see any guides for qemu, and those are the only two free virtualisation softwares I know of. Maybe someone else can help. Whats the rush anyway? You've downloaded the iso, you have a year to use it.

Yeah I just needed helpbecause I promised a friend that I would help win with a brick but I need NUSD (he has only macs too)

Have you tried NUS WAD Packer? Its like NUSD, but supposedly more powerful or something. Only problem is its from Icefire, who has been known to claim his work is legal but it actually be illegal so I'm not sure...But I think it works on Macs.

Ooooh... I don't really trust icefire's work... He made scioscorp (which is almost always used for piracy) and I don't want to screw it up even further...

Icefire didnt make cIOScorp...that da_letter_a or something like that.

Icefire made wadder and mymenuify.

Oh, I thought that was a typo. Never heard of this scioscorp. Is it officially released I wonder? Seen no mention of it on GBAFail...(I like to go on their and keep track of the latest fail)

No it was released on his private git hub as a python script... I never used it but I was looking there a looooong time ago for mymenu (before I realized it was just stupid) then saw it there.

well i got past the error know it gave me the "windows is loading files" page and a "windows is starting up" message but after that i get a blue screen and it says

"*** STOP: " and after the STOP: there are a bunch of numbers (kinda like a code dump) i really am at a loss here could someone please help?

I think the problem is that you're using a 64-bit version, I don't think QEMU can reliably emulate a 64-bit processor. Personally, I would just use Linux on said virtual machine and from there, run NUSD on WINE

i could go download the 32 bit one....... is there a free linux?

Oh, thats a good idea. Why didnt I think of that. That way it wont expire after June 31st 2010 either. Yeah, do his thing.
