Like I said before, It has shrunken the image before, but now it doesn't want to. I could just make the image base smaller, but if I get too small the larger circles won't look like circles.by g_man - Coding
My game is almost working :D, but I have one final problem(for now). When I try to shrink a sprite at just disapears, but when i grow it it is fine. I'll give some code later, but I know this isn't a problem with libwiisprite, because, using the same sprite, I tested it. I just made a simple program that shrinked and grew my planet sprite. This test worked fine, the planet never dissapeby g_man - Coding
It looks like you don't zlib installed. This is probably the reason for the other errors. Look inside you libogc forlder the go to include and see if you can find zlib.h if it is there, make sure zlib.a is in the lib folder. If either of these isn't there try reinstalling devkitpro.by g_man - Getting Started

I don't think it matters what RSA it is, the method would still be the same, I think. But I pretty sure that the wii uses 1024-Bit RSAby g_man - Offtopic
I'll post more when I can test it again, but other images load fine on the screen, and the arrow foes too, just no where I want it. I have run trials with the arrow in the mddle of the screen and it works perfectly, which leaves arrowimg.GetHeight() to be the fault or the position I am placing itby g_man - Coding
Ok, I have some more information. The cause of me not seeing the arrow is because I subtract my arrow height which is returned to me by arrowimg.GetHeight(). Normally this would be fine, but it is returning a height of 4294967296. When my real image height is 112, and my width is 44. please reply, thanksby g_man - Coding
In my code I create an arrow who's size and direction are relative to the location of the wiimote. The code for writing the size and the direction works perfectly, whithout error, but I'm having trouble placing the arrow in the correct location. I works fine when my code for the location is simply arrow.SetPosition(initX,initY); where initX and initY is the location I want the centerby g_man - Coding

I wasn't heading in the direction of something like the VC manual. I was thinking like a page from a link from the main menu of an app. Say you start the app MyApp. It brings you to a menu which says Play, Settings, Multi-player, instructions. When you click on the instructions link, it takes you to a different page, like if you hit play it would take you to a different page, this page woulby g_man - Ideas, requests

Does anyone know Of a good, free drawing program. I'm trying to create a circle, and I can't find a good program to do it with. I can draw one in paint, but I cannot manually edit the values. I like the way Flash edits shapes, but I can't save the images in picture format. In flash I have the ability to edit the width of the sames exactly, but I can't do this in paint.by g_man - Offtopic
I was asking because as I was creating my current app I thought it would be nice to have one universal way to write ingame instructions.by g_man - Ideas, requests
I'm too lazy to do it. And I think that it would be nice to have 1 common method that user can get used to. I think it would eventually vet more complicated that just printing text to the screen. Maybe we could have some kind of ini file that would properties like the color of the font, size, font, style. In conclusion I just think that having one function call would be nice.by g_man - Ideas, requests
I'm not sure if this is the right section, but here I go. I was thinking about a way to write instructions for an app that can be accessed while in the game. I was wondering if somebody could code a simple library that would read and write a txt file to screen while in a graphics mode. It would be in the form of a text box with a background behind it, and if the text was too long it could haby g_man - Ideas, requests
Just to make sure I'm right, I will have a loop and on every iteration of that loop I will find the distance and the angle to the center of the point of gravity with these formulas AccelAng = atan((240-bullet1.getX())/(bullet1.getY()-320)); If center is 240,320 Accel = k/(calcDistance(bullet1.getX(),bullet1.getY(),320,240)*calcDistance(bullet1.getX(),bullet1.getY(),320,240)); To calculateby g_man - Coding

I thought I read somewhere that box2d wasn't very good for the type of gravity i'm tring to implement. Also, I'm tring to use this as a learning experience. Thanks thoughby g_man - Coding
I know I have posted other topics like this, but after thinking, i just need to know how to do this. I am making a homebrew game where I need to make an object feel the force of gravity from a planet. Think of the object as a ball in space, and it is shot from a cannon. When it get close enough to a planet, It will be attracted to it by gravity. If it is going too slow, gravity will pull it inby g_man - Coding
I am trying to figure out why my code is causing a stack dump, but I want to really know why the dump is happening. If I'm right, the part directly below Exception (ISI) occurred! is a list of all the registers. Then it is followed by the hexadecimal codes that caused the problem. Also is there an easy way to convert between the opcode and the hexadecimal equivelent.by g_man - Coding
I finally had time to test this out, and no dice, the ball just disapears. I know that there is nothing wrong with my class, because I have tested it. here is the code I added: temp = M_PI+asin((0-(bullet1.getY()-240))/100); temp2 = (temp2*temp2)/100; bullet1.addNewAccelVector(temp2,temp); If my understanding of Centripetal Acceleration is corect then I need to add a new vector that isby g_man - Coding
