Make sure you remove any other external devices (USB devices, GC devices, etc.)by WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew Applications
Yes, you can try restoring your NAND backup. Quotefreegame36i dont want any guesses There's no reason not to try re-installing the system menu. It won't harm your wii.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
I'm pretty sure not being able to access the settings is a sign of a semi-brick...I'm not really sure how to fix that.... :/ I have no clue if this will help, but you could try reinstalling the system menu with Dop-Mii.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Okay, then. Make sure its switched to "unlocked."by WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew Applications

I assume that you were connecting with the homebrew browser just fine before you installed priiloader?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Make sure the switch on your SD card is set to "off."by WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew Applications
In answer to your first question: Launch bootmii, and navigate over to the little spinning cogs. Press the reset button over it. You'll get another screen, and on this screen you'll see a picture of a green arrow pointing from your wii to an SD card. Press reset over that option, and then follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure you have at least 512mb free on your SD card, or elby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Quotefreegame36also, should i back it up again to save any recent changes. If you've made changes to your wii since the last time you backed up your NAND, then I would suggest making another backup. Quotefreegame36i should be safe from brick since i have it backed with boot2 correct? Yep. :) If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
You can't make a NAND backup with priiloader....by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Just make sure you don't shut down your wii during the update.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew General

Does the forum software support this function? Its not necessary, but it might be useful for topics like these.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Feedback & Support
QuoteCalvook, will do. can we leave this open though, just in case something else happens? Lol, of course. :)by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
QuoteCalvookay, so then i just pop in the disc, and update then? im scared that something will go horribly wrong and the wii will end up bricking itself or something lol Yes, just update your wii. Don't turn off your wii during the update, though, or it will brick.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Yeah, no need to uninstall the HBC. :)by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Get this app and launch it through the HBC. Then, once the app is loaded, turn off the "autoboot" option.by WaxyPumpkin72 - BootMii Beta
Sweet, I'm glad you got it working! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! :) I remember a while back when I was trying to set up Gecko OS and channel loading. BLEH. It took me forever to figure it out...So I understand that you're excited. :Pby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Try using this download manager:by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Unplug any external devices, AKA: USB devices (rockband controllers, hard drive), and GC devices (GC Controller, GC memory card).by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Have you already gotten codes for MegaMan? The Patch File is supposed to be optional...I'm pretty sure you can enable/disable it in the config settings of the Gecko OS menu.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Yeah, I guess that would make sense. I still don't see how NAND Permissions would help, though. Go ahead and try following the same instructions I gave you before, but accept the ES_Identify. You can apply NAND Permissions, if you want to, but I don't think it would make any difference.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
What apps?by WaxyPumpkin72 - Homebrew General
QuoteprofetylenQuotedirtrider73068Its not really a artist, its a loop of a song that was loaded to play on the HBB. Well, the person who has written that loop should be the artist that made it, shouldn't he/she? Yeah, somebody still composed it. @mk2838: You could probably ask teknecal who the composer was...by WaxyPumpkin72 - Offtopic
My last suggestion. :P Open up notepad (or TextEdit if you're on a mac), type this in: startupios = 36 Save the file and call it gameconfig.txt. Put it on the root of your SD card. Then, try loading Gecko OS and see if the channel loading option is there. Okay, thats all the help you'll get from me today. I need to go to sleep. :Pby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Lol, its fine, you're not a bother. XD Yeah, you probably should restore it. Accept the prompt. :Pby WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Just download from NUS again.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Quoteskin_yawait but you guys supported the N64 emulator app but not the game files that it needs to be used If you knew what you were talking about, you would understand that running an emulator isn't illegal. Downloading ROMs that you don't have the right to own is illegal. Thus, we won't give you a link. It says so in the rules.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Oh yeah. Select "Download from NUS." You don't need to worry about the config folder. :)by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
Quoteskin_yaall is good now any 1 know where i can get some games for the N64 emulator? We will not give you illegal links to websites to download N64 ROMS. Go elsewhere to find those.by WaxyPumpkin72 - Getting Started
