An app to transmit captured ds demos to your ds from the wii would be great. I know there are pc programs that can send demos to ds but require specific wifi cards....by groupedix - Ideas, requests
Well we've got no luck I guess... I've made some research on chroma and luma frequency, and Iunderstand now why it is impossible, since 480p's frequency is 27mhz... So even if we trick the tv to think that the signal is 720p, nothing will be displayed..by groupedix - Ideas, requests
Yes indeed, I have my wii connected with component cables directly to my tv. Well, i thought of this upscaling possibility while I was thinking about my dvd player, which is hooked by component also, and how it can switch from widescreen to standard 4:3 depending on the dvd, and my tv would adjust perfecly to the aspect ratio. I've made some research on the internet and came upon thiby groupedix - Ideas, requests
I was wondering, is it possible to change the output signaling of the wii, so that the tv thinks that it is a 720p signal (even though it would be still 480p), and displays the Wii's output in 720p? It would not change anything to the resolution of the games, but the Wii's output would be "upscaled" by the tv. It would probably get rig of the blurriness of the 480p resolution... Nintendo allways stated that the Wii is capable of anti-aliasing, but none of its games show any sing of using it. I guess it is a performance issue that prevents developpers to use AA in their games. But I was wondering if there is a homebrew application that enables anti-aliasing on regular wii games?by groupedix - Getting Started
Quoteprofetylenhttp://www.tripoint.org/kevtris/Projects/copynes/index.html There you go :) Well, thank you, but to copy the 5 cartridges that I have, 125$ is too expensive. Even if I wanted to assamble this thing by myself, 45$ is too much. I could buy my 5 games on the virtual console and I'll have them for 25$. I'm thinking about destroying my cartridges and then download roby groupedix - Homebrew Applications
I guess I'll just have to plug in my good old NES to play my games then. I tried to find an adapter or dumper on google to copy my own cartridges, but I have not found any. Nintendo should make that we can send them our old cartriges and they allow us to download the game on the wii shop for free... but it will never happen.by groupedix - Homebrew Applications
I've made a search on the forum but could not find the answer. I have an old Nes system with 5 cartriges, but how do I get my games from the cartriges to the wii?? I've come across some threads talking about roms and that it was illegal to download them on the internet. I want to avoid piracy at all costs, so how can I play my nes games on the wii.by groupedix - Homebrew Applications
When I use Bannerbomb and Loadmii, my wii freezes after having ran the fourth or 5th application from loadmii. When it freezes, I can't go back to loadmii screen with the home button or the reset button. Also, in MplayerWii, Mplayer CE, and geexbox, it freezes during some live streams (mms or http), while some other streams are so choppy that it's unwatchable. Hi, I've been following the homebrew scene for some time, and last week i started using bannerbomb exploit and Loadmii to run homebrew apps and games... so far I am satisfied. But I have 2 questions regarding the Homebrew Channel: 1. Can I just use the homebrew channel as a loader from my sd card (with bannerbomb) without installing it as a channel on my wii system? If it is possible,by groupedix - Getting Started
It would be nice to know who was working on this project, or was it someone just messing around...by groupedix - The Junkyard

I found something interesting in the homebrew channel/ideas section of wiibrew.org: "Make Wii menu Full HD or at least 720p using the TechRepublic's PA library DeViX's Custom Sony Bravia Engine. HomeBrew menu launcher is nearly finished Homebrew menu launcher is finished but is nearly 600mb. Interpolation is FINALLY POSSIBLE!!! Full HD games are a couple of months away!!
