I want my wii to quit bugging me to do updates in order to play games or go to shop channel. The last update caused issues I am not allowed to discuss here. It didn't delete my homebrew channel but caused other issues. I read somewhere that priiloader can make it so I can tell my wii not to update. I am not savvy about all of this. I did homebrew channel back in the summer and forgoby alovingmommyof3 - Homebrew Applications
I tried holding reset while turning on my wii. All that seems to do is allow it to boot the the wii menu rather than bootmii. I should have stated that in my original post, sorry about that. Sometimes my wii won't allow me to play a regular disc without doing the update. Or I can't access the shop channel without an update. So it doesn't really force me, but it makes my life aby alovingmommyof3 - Homebrew Applications
It says success kind of but can't find two files to delete. I can't say more because the screen goes back to the HBC before I have a chance to read it. I found the latest prii loader. I load it from the HBC and install it. Now how do I run it? I want to use it to fix some issues that keep me coming back here for help. Today (1/17/2011) my wii forced me to update. I don't know why because it wouldn't let me before because of the homebrew channel. So now it is telling me I need unstubbed ios 222 v4 or 249 v9. It told me to go find out how to do it and then come back and see it. So here I am trying to figure out how to do this. I am pretty stupid about doing stuff like this so please be patient. Recenlty my wii forced some update one me (which baffles me becuase it wouldn't let me update some time ago and I posted about it). Ever since the update everything works except my cios loaders and my usb loader gx. I get an error that says I need unstubbed ios 222 v4 or 249 v9. It said to go figure out how to get some cios and then come back and see it. So here I am trying to learn. Thby alovingmommyof3 - The Junkyard
During my trying to fix my update problem, I found a workaround fix for it. Now I can't figure out how to get the wii to boot to the system menu upon being turned on. Now it boots to boot mii. I tried installing it both ways at the same time and seperately and no matter what it does this because it makes me update the homebrew channel. When I change the way bootmii loads, I am told my hoby alovingmommyof3 - Getting Started
I don't now what to do. My wii has homebrew. I am unsure how i did it because it was probably six months ago. My Wii will not update to 4.3 and I can't use the shop channel. Thinking it would help, I formatted my Wii. Now I have lost my channels (weather, internet, etc). All that did was change the error code when trying to update from 32007 to 32004.
