QuoteYoghurtand thats the reason i love you my dear^^You better stay with your wife, she is better looking ;-) Quoteyeah, i do love those games, especially terranigma. so good. well, i already have a few things in place. as ive already said, i have way too much freetime on my hands and need something to do while you are not available XD so, if you find the time, could you adapt the prophecyby Daid - Ideas, requests
Limiting yourself to only translated to Spanish games is very limiting. Why not start of with some English games? Or English versions of games you already know. Then you can learn a bit of English, which is never bad for you. Limiting yourself to one language makes you just as bad as the French, and you don't want to be like the French right?by Daid - Offtopic
Lets finish The Prophecy first :P And there are quite a few zelda clone projects already, from 100% custom graphics to rips from Zelda 1 for the nes or Zelda from the snes. I actually have code lying around for a zelda clone with snes graphics. But that doesn't use 'free form' pictures for maps as you used for The Prophecy, but a tilemap. It's pretty old code, soby Daid - Ideas, requests
I don't think we support custom IOS installers anymore. And the file shouldn't be in your devkit but in your project somewhere. In source or just in the base directory next to the Makefile (or 1 level below that)by Daid - Coding
I don't think we support WAD manager here. And if you want to launch HBC, just launch the correct title ID. (And what's with this silly french obsession to translate everything?)by Daid - Coding
Well, I would just go for PNG files unless you have a special reason to need to support TGA. PNG can do everything that TGA can do, at a smaller file size.by Daid - Coding
Bannerbomb is most likely based on a stack overflow, which are the easiest to exploit. If you can get the photo channel to crash with intentionally corrupted files, then you might be on to something. But I don't think you will. The 'normal' file formats are well known and there are good libraries available for them, which are exploit free.by Daid - Software
I think what is going wrong is that the Wii RGBA format is not what you think it is. It's not the same as the OpenGL RGBA format (also caught me offguard) OpenGL RGBA is just a linear array of 32 bit values containing the pixel data. Wii RGBA is 4x4 RGBA, it contains 4x4 pixel blocks in 32x 16 bit values, where the first 16x 16 bit values are red+alpha and the next 16x 16bit are green+blby Daid - Coding
I got a crash on the Wii, finally. Seems like something in the audio system, still investigating this. Looks like it's valgrind time. We're already working towards the next version with stage 2. Which is about 1.5x as large as stage 1 in just distance you need to travel, with a lot more height action. New tougher enemies, a few fixes, and a fancy new boss to fight. Unless you start writing whole sentences, and explain better what the problem is, you will never get a clear answer. You sound like a silly script kiddy. We cannot magicly see what you are doing wrong. You don't tell what you have done so far, and you don't try to explain what is going wrong. You only say "OMG, It's not workin'! ELP PLOX!" VBA is not coded to run twice side by side (I looked at it) wanting this in VBA requires a lot of work. I have coded a GB emulator from scratch that runs 2 GBs (or even 4) side by side. However, emulation is not perfect, and link emulation fails in many cases (tetris kinda works, but pokemon trading generates strange results)by Daid - Ideas, requests

Strange, never had random crashes so far. But the music looping was broken and was a last minute fix so that might be causing the crash. I'm also still on sysmenu 3.2 with old IOS versions, and using a bit old libogc, could that be the problem? This is the elf file. (I also play tough the demo stage in less then 3 minutes, maybe that's why it's more rare for me)by Daid - Homebrew Applications

Ezekiel Rage and myself worked hard to get this demo out. Let us know what you think! It's only 1 stage, but there is more waiting to happen.by Daid - Homebrew Applications
Just to name a few: -Forgetting to initialize a pointer (works sometimes, failes at random times) -Dangling pointer (using a pointer to already freed memory) -Freeing the same pointer twice (not sure what happens, but it is bad) -Stack corruption (buffer overflow on the stack can cause all kind of havoc) I had a strange case of dumps when I tried to allocate way more memory then the Wii haby Daid - Coding

Quotelorddunlow3. My current BootMii setup will only boot to the last version of the HBC (JODI) due to the change in title IDs. Is there any way to change this other than updating my version of BootMii to the newest version? And will that version change me to boot2v4?The title loaded from bootmii is contained within the PPC application on the SD card. So after updating to a new version of the Hby Daid - Homebrew General
SDL replaces the main function with it's own version. That might be causing problems for you. SDL can only playback 48khz or 32khz. As most audio is stored 44100khz this might cause problems for you. Just a warning. After not even getting ASND to work I just build my own software only mixer. Which seems to function quite well on the Wii.by Daid - Coding
Look at the nunchuk, notice that it's missing an IR sensor. So: 1) Grab your favorite soldering iron, add it yourself, hack everything else around it to use it. or: 2) You're out of luck. PERIOD. (I want the Wii to bake me apple pie! And a pony)by Daid - Coding
The nunchuk doesn't have a yaw. The nunchuck 'senses' gravity, and from that it can calculate yaw/pitch.by Daid - Coding

First, make sure you want to learn how to code. Yoghurt tried to learn how to code, but failed. He also did not want to learn how to code because he wanted to code, but he wanted to learn how to code because he wanted to make something he envisioned. Right now he seems to be much better off teaming up with someone who knows how to code. As I'm no artist so it's great to work with himby Daid - Coding
Quoteredted1888does this project even still exist? has the project died a quiet death? It never lived. This thread is full of ideas, but no work. The only reason this thread exists at all is to get people requesting this stuff at bay.by Daid - Ideas, requests
I don't think you will get very far. The wii is limited on memory and CPU speed. And gnash (only flash player that has chance of working on the Wii) does not have great compatibility with the normal flash player.by Daid - Ideas, requests
