QuotewhodaresNeither are my tools. After I've finished the banner tools, I'll be creating creating an installer and some sort of packaging system so you can bundle up any homebrew with a banner and install it as a channel. But that's quite a distance off yet... we are happily waiting! That would be a sweet release! Maybe a Wiibrew Christmas present?!?! I've noticed thaby DrLucky - Homebrew General
QuoteArikadoYeah for symphony of the night! The video preview had FF7 working on it. I'll see if I can find the youtube link... I'd like to give FF7 a shot!by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
UPDATE I tried Symphony of the Night just for Arikado. I downloaded it as a bin instead of ripping my own. It started great. the graphics of the opening screen were flawless...but it had the same issue as Turnabout... it wouldn't recognize the GC controller "Start" button. I know the emulator can recognize the controller since I could move up and down in FF9 (but would crash when attemptiby DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
QuoteKruperTrooperSo does this mean you can create a channel for lets say, Wii64 now? yes... but Wii64 isn't finished yet!by DrLucky - Homebrew General
I wouldn't mind either first... C'mon now... with out emukidid, NONE of this would be possible!by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
QuoteKruperTrooperhahahah one question what does WiiSX exactly do? some sort of emu? WiiSX is a Playstation 1 emulator that runs on the Wii... it works "ok" right now, but hasn't been publicly released. It will run smoothly eventually though.by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
the ISOs i ripped would go straight to a code dump... and suggestions on ripping my PS games? my pleasure... All the NES, SNES, GB, GBA, SEGA ect... emulators work great... so now I'm on to trying N64 and PSX!by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
WiiSX rev. 47 - testing I have just tested the new WiiSX... but all it did was a code dump ( hmmm... maybe I am doing something wrong... )there is a "debugwiisx.elf" file in the WiiSX folder too... should that even be on the card? I ripped my Tony Hawk Pro game to a ISO and Final Fantasy 9 to a bin, but I never got a chance to pick them to test. With Rev. 46 I was able to get it started, bby DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
hmmm... wow, you can see the lights on the wiibar with the camera pictureby DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
all the best ones are right here!:by DrLucky - Homebrew General
well then that would be piracy... and we DON'T support piracy here!by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
you have a GameCube emulator for the wii? what purpose would that serve?!?!by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
Sorry... got carried away! I am testing the newest WiiSX, but not an "official" tester (if there are any)... should I still start a new thread about it?by DrLucky - Homebrew General
QuoteKruperTrooperi cant seem to get Wii64 to work. its loads and everything but then it just freezes. lol why? if you could tell me exactly what folders and files to put on my SD card then thanks. also how do i get the NES emulator to appear as a channel. like how the HBC appears as a channel, how do it get the NES to do the same. i dont wanna go through the HBC and then to the NES emu.by DrLucky - Homebrew General

I don't know why someone would pay over $100 for a small 32gig/64gig SDHC card when you could buy an external USB hard drive with around 10x that space! Its not like there are 32 gigs of homebrew apps we need to fit on an SD card.... Now I have a question... No HB apps will boot form a USB will they? or will a future version of HBC have USB support?by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
@bushing thank you... that clears more up, still all a big mess! hahaby DrLucky - Homebrew General
yeah, the homebrew browser is just a browser and launcher. If you dont have any apps on your SD card, then it doesn't do anything.by DrLucky - Homebrew General
I think Sega CD and the Ataris (2600, 5200, 800, Lynx ect..) should be added to the list.by DrLucky - Homebrew General
Ok.. that makes more since... not sure how "Using a hacked Nintendo WAD to load your own code is illegal" since I bought their console, and downloaded their free channel. Well, I know what Nintendo gives out is only for people who have the system, but who is going to download a free Nintendo wad if they don't have a wii? Like, it isn't illegal to give a homeless guy without a computeby DrLucky - Homebrew General
QuoteDanielHuehoQuoteDrLuckyWow... I just read all 8 pages of this! Crash course in Wii ios! But I am confused about the banner code. The Homebrew Channel has banners in it, and a lot of the emu-channels have their own custom banners. I understand that the code used to change the banner might be Nintendo's, but how is Homebrew Channel the exception? If it is something completely original,by DrLucky - Homebrew General

But those apps don't work NOT because of the Nintendo update, but because of the new Wiibrew update.by DrLucky - Homebrew General
yeah... I wish they would make one... oh, do Sega 32x games play on the Genesis Plus emulator? If not, is there a rumor of one of those emulators?by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
Also make sure your app is set to save on the SD card.by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
The games I have tried have been working for me... What is the auto patching feature? (I usually learn what I need to know, so this patching is new...)by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
oh, ok... I had wi-fi already, so I didnt look at all the Wii accessories I could buy :)by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
I was simply curious as to whether it was possible and/or someone was already working on it! Unfortunately I am leaning C# instead of C++ I was asking about the PS emu because of the similarities between the 2 systems: ISO, 32 bit, ect...by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
QuoteArikadoMaybe they'll give us a new release soon, now that the old one isn't compatible with HBC 9. ?!? old apps are now not compatible with new hbc versions?by DrLucky - Homebrew Applications
