If u have got the option to install boot2,then do that. It'll ask if u want to format card,do this then install as boot2. now turn off your wii,and it,ll restart in bootmii screen (u may need a GC controller to choose options or use eject/reset buttons, watch utube vid) now once u can go throught options,go to the cog with green arrow,and make a nand backup,and when all thats done,keep tby skagg - Getting Started

U can install all option,but last 3 is what most choose.as far as compatable with bootmii,could,nt tell you.by skagg - Getting Started

I did the TP hack while on 3.3e no problems went sweet as, after that while installing amonst others a certain app it took me down to 2.1e,which i was not trying to do.Anyway as its my daughters wii and she could,nt care less about HB or any other kind of console mods, whatever happened i needed it to still play Animal crossing as its her fav game,but when i was at 2.1,the wii would,nt even attemby skagg - Homebrew General

After glancing at top of page and seeing some of the rules i,ll change my original question. Should HBC run most apps on a v33e? and if not what do i need to have to sort my'not a valid wii application' out,when trying to load a CIOS wadby skagg - The Junkyard
.dol or.elf - 15 years ago
Hiya All, i,m not new to mods on most consoles but before i maybe brick my daughters wii the only thing that i need to query is,in the HB channel folder i have wiiload folder,a readme and a .dol file. Now do i need to put all on the SD or just the .dol file,but most importantly does it need to stay as .dol or renamed to .elf. A friend says rename to elf and the readme says elf don,t work thatsby skagg - Getting Started
