Well, this isn't a suggestion for a Wii homebrew app per se, but a way to make another program compatible. Ya see, Timesplitters: Future Perfect for the XBOX had a PC utility released that could create mapmaker files and load them onto the XBOX internal memory. The Gamecube version? No such luck. The reason I ask is because the XBOX version's PC utility has no limit on memory when creatby Gatleos - Ideas, requests
Yeah I thought so. The disc channel is more part of the menu than the others, I assume? Well, I'd still propose a dedicated DVD playing app. None of the current media players have gotten it quite right. WiiMC has a pretty good interface, but a ton of problems. From what I've seen, MPlayer CE has near-perfect DVD playback, but the interface is god-awful and the menus can't be navigaby Gatleos - Ideas, requests
There's already code out there developed from DVDx to play back DVDs. I'm not even sure the disc channel works the same way as other channels, but if code can be made to emulate the disc channel exactly, perhaps someone could add a dedicated DVD playback feature to it. Then Wii Disks, Gamecube Disks and DVDs could be used seamlessly from the same application. Again, I'm sure thby Gatleos - Ideas, requests
Well, I tried all of that, and apparently something worked. It was probably the IOS 249 stub. Thanks!by Gatleos - Homebrew Applications
Does that usually cause the console to freeze up? Is there a program I could use to reinstall that IOS?by Gatleos - Homebrew Applications
I know this has been asked before, and I've tried many different things (downgrading wii menu with dop-mii, reinstalling different versions of mymenuify, etc.) But whenever I start mymenuify from the HBC, I get nothing but a black screen, the wiimote won't connect, and the whole console freezes. Anyone know how to fix it?by Gatleos - Homebrew Applications
Specifically, the forecast, news, etc. channels that can't normally be deleted. I've looked everywhere and haven't gotten a straight answer yet. The closest I've come is some kind of process involving editing certain files in the memory to make the channels "deletable". I don't mind any process I have to undergo, as long as someone can clearly tell me what I need to do anby Gatleos - Homebrew General
Well, I figured it out right after posting the question. For anybody who doesn't know it yet, you need two Snes9xgx folders. One should be in the root of the SD card and contain the "saves" and "cheats" folders. The other should go inside the "apps" folder and contain the "roms" folder. Like this: /snes9xgx/ (this should contain the "cheats" and "saves" folders) /apps/snes9x/ (this sby Gatleos - Getting Started
Snes9x GX installed just fine on my SD card, and I'm fairly sure that I set up the directory correctly. However, when I try to use save and/or load from the home menu, I get the error message "Error opening directory!" My load folder in the main settings is set to: apps/snes9xgx/roms/ I'm pretty sure that's for loading the games themselves. Correct me if I'm wrong. My saby Gatleos - Getting Started
